So, maybe now I can really say that I'm back... the past 2 months have been CRAZY! As many of you guys should remember about a year ago I was going on deployment, well, now I'm back. After some random tasks, leave and another few crazy weeks, I'm here on vizzed. What's been so crazy you ask? Well, let me tell you. I has this amazing 2001 Honda Civic. I've had it almost a year, drove it from Texas to Minnesota, and back. About a week or two after driving it back down, some idiot pulls out from a Stop sign, and hits me. I had the right-a-way, and was going 30, no serious injury, but on a 2001, with minimal insurance, not worth the repair costs... So I got a newer car. A 2011 Nissan Rogue to be exact. It's a sweet car, but it's much larger than my civic, in a good and bad way. Has only like 170,000 miles less, which is always a plus.
My little vaca in Minnesota was AMAZING! I was able to see almost all my siblings for the first time in almost a year. It's great to just chill and do whatever you'd like for 2 weeks. I got a DSLR camera, drove around all over the place, saw my nephews and nieces, and saw my parents. Coolest thing? I started making an acoustic guitar with my oldest brother. We started from scratch, no kit. He milled the wood, we got the wood to a nice and thin size and got almost 1/3 done in a week. (Roughly 40+ hours put into it.) I saw my grandpa, which is awesome, since I haven't seen him in ages! Sadly, his health is not getting any better, so each visit with him, is extremely precious!
Being back in Texas, while not horrible, it's rained so much! Last year this time, it was DRY. Almost no rain at all, this year, almost every day for 2 weeks. Been driving around the area, just taking pictures, it's really nice. Planning more road-trips to see if I can get some other pictures of this area. Hoping to sell some pictures to make a few extra bucks on the side, we'll see, especially since there isn't much water here in the area, and that's my specialty. Work is boring, since it mostly involves sitting around without a purpose, just staring at my co-workers all day is just BORING! That's the Texas rundown... Feel free to ask about details, but I can't think of anything that's pressing, or cool to talk about. So, maybe now I can really say that I'm back... the past 2 months have been CRAZY!
