The play station module here is very new and does not have all the pictures, I usually use pictures to choose a game so I would like to know then which is the best games to play?

Have you played any, which is the best, which is the worst?

Crash team racing is an awesome game! And my favourite for the PS1, I reccomend you check it out. As for the worst, that has to be rascal racers. Idk if that one is even on vizzed.

Crash bandicoot series of games are one of them. There is also a few others such as the rpg games ff7, 8 and 9. Also abes oddysee. There are many possibilities to this, if you have like played enough of ps1 games to know. But, you would actually know for yourself which are the best ones, as they are mostly heard from people. I think broken sword series too can come up in the list. I mean there is so many. Its actually hard for me to pick out the best one...

I always really enjoyed playing Tetris Plus 2 on the PS1 with my Mom. We would sit for hours, fighting to see who could clear the first world first. She always won, but only ever by 1 or 2 puzzles. 

So many good games. i'll help you get started.


RPG:
Star Ocean -Second Story  - It has a wall of text to overcome when you meet your two main characters, but its a lot of fun after that. It lets you choose between a male or female protagonist, and you have party members you have to choose from, found in the story itself. The fights are more action oriented than standard turn based. Its a very long game too, with a lot of secrets.

Wild Arms: A quirky mix of Zelda and RPG, it has kind of a wild-west theme, which is different.

Final Fantasy series  - FF7 was a huge, huge deal when it came out. And honestly, Square was really on a roll during the Playstation period.

Suikoden series -Each game is about recruiting a literal army of people to help you. 

Grandia : a pretty typical rpg, but it has no random battles, you see them coming and can choose to fight

Lunar: traditional RPG


Platformer: 
Tomba!  - Its cutesy and can remind people of angry birds, with it being about evil pigs

Klonoa - Has a beautiful 3D world in a 2D play style.  Looks for kids but its also fun.

Syro - A purple dragon that collects fireflies and burns things

Stealth games - the genre grew from rogueish games and really took off during this era.

Metal Gear Solid: This is without a doubt my favorite game of these espionage series. 

tenchu : If you like sneaking around like Metal Gear, but wanted more say, feudal Japan and assassinations, this is your game.

Tomb Raider : She started here. 

Ape Escape: LOL, just try it. Great use of Dual Shock, if you have the original.

Castlevania Symphony of Night : Just play this. Its super awesome.


Fighting:
Soul Blade: Before Soul Calibur, there was this game, with almost all the characters you know and love

Rival Schools: its a fighting game, based on high schools around the world. Its really odd, but made by Capcom, so you know its good.

Dark Stalkers: A fighting game based around monsters, with vampires, a succubus, a cat girl, etc. Also by Capcom.

Tekken series - Good times, with a lot of female and male characters to choose from



Racing:
Driver - this series was at a time, a strong contender to GTA games, except you play as a cop. instead of the immoral bad guy

Ridge Racer - come on, its "RIDGE RACER!"

Wipeout -a futuristic original

Tony Hawk : a skateboarding game. Neversoft rode this title to the bank for years 

OTHERS:
Parappa the Rapper - a timing game thats more story than really gameplay, but its fun and has a South Park art style. Really odd.

 Silent Hill - get your scare on

FF Tactics - complex turn based strategy game

Resident Evil - get your scare on again!

Abe's Odysee - a very unique art style. Ugly characters that you can care about.

Front Mission: Almost forgot, this is a game with giant walking robots. You cannot go wrong with that, usually

Worms- a Lemmings like puzzle game

Puzzle Fighter - flashy sd characters from Street Fighter in your puzzle game

Totts : castlevania symphony of the night was an increadible game so many secrets so much gear so much gammeplay and levels your never done with the game

i have a couple recommendations too. some of my personal favorites:              (I'm a bit bias with jrpgs, so...        )



all the ps1's ffs: pretty self explanatory, good music, combat system story ect.

breath of fire 3&4: a little more obscure titles, but still very good. system is kinda like final fantasy.Epic dragons. (1&2 can also be found for the gba and snes but they were no where near as good.)

The legend of dragoon: yet another turn based game with a incredible story that pulls at your heart strings (mostly at the end.) more epic dragons BTW.

castlevania symphony of the night: a great game, maybe the best of the series. (i really don't like plat formers, this is really the only exception) Ton o' secrets and pets too!

and lastly, my favorite.

Chrono Cross: the sequel to the highly acclaimed chrono trigger, and boy does it live up to its predecessor . the music is... really just.. out of this world. the first time i saw the opening i got the chills. story is AMAZING yet very complicated. (any maybe even a bit confusing if you have never played chrono trigger.)

For me, that is very easy. My favorite Play Station one game is Pac Man world. I just love the many facets that they injected into the gameplay!

My favourite PS1 game of all time is Spyro 2 Gateway to Glimmer.
It is really close that what I like the most, Spyro or Crash,
but I think Spyro games is a little better than Crash games.
And It was close call which Spyro game I like the most to PS1, but I finally chose Spyro2,
Because of " The Double Jump" what is has and the glitches are really awesome and fun to perform.
So, that was my chose.

The Spyro trilogy is arguably the best game I've played for PSX. Then in close second Crash 3: Warped.

My best PlayStation game I would have to say is a tie between Suikoden 1 or 2, and Lunar 1 and 2, those four games, may not have too much in the graphics department, but the story will keep you glued to the television for hours on end. Out of both series, if I had to really choose only one, I would choose Suikoden, the game really is a masterpiece. I sadly had to be showed that game by a friend, though I am glad I was showed the series, I was just sad I never knew it existed before hand.

I have four favorite PlayStation 1 games and they are:
1) Grandia
2) Spyro: Year of the Dragon 
3) Harvest Moon: Back to Nature
4) Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

Lately, I've been getting way into Silent Hill on my own system, but you can play it on Vizzed as well, I believe.
But as that game's not for everyone, Crash Team Racing is great fun, too. As far as Mario Kart clones go, CTR is amazing.

Spyro is, by far, the best game I have played for the Playstation console. I Would love to play the classic Spyro game for the Playstation console again but, sadly I do not have the classic Spyro games nor do I have the old Playstation console. If I had the Playstation console with the classic Spyro games, I probably wouldn't be on here that often. That goes to show how much I love the Spyro games. 

The characters on Spyro are, in their own ways, unique and I like them. Spyro, to me, will always be the best character since, without Spyro, there is no Spyro.

I even like the cheetah guy in Spyro. He makes me laugh a lot xD

Hands Down Final Fantasy VII

Totts : I know this has probably been said millions of times but I say Final Fantasy VII because of it's incredible story, amazing soundtrack, and it's wonderful cast of characters. I also love final fantasy IX but at the end of the day Final Fantasy VII is the best PS1 game of all time in my opinion.

I'd say Spyro the Dragon. As for which one out of the 3 games for ps1, I have no idea. They're all too amazing.
