I have been looking into this forum and there seems to be nothing really Fire Emblem related. -dies a little inside :'(-
All I see are Megaman posts and I am getting sick of the plague. Must destroy the plague and revive Fire Emblem!

Speaking of which, Fire Emblem is a game that involves strategy and tactics that costs each tactic to be rather risky, causing a unit to never revive back to life (unless the unit is a main character causing you to restart the chapter). The purpose and gameplay of the Fire Emblem makes everything interesting and challenging, making every unit in the game to be important in your army.

So my question is to you all is.........what is your favorite Fire Emblem game in the whole series?

I've only played 1 fire emblem game. And the one I played isnt my favorite

I saw my brother play sacred stones. It is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen.

FE7 was ok, but it didn't keep my attention very long. Sacred stones is like epic

would play it if i had the dang rgr plugin

I, like a lot of people (I'm sure), have only played (and completed) only one Fire Emblem game: Awakening.

I love it for it's addicting gameplay, and dialogue between characters (one of my favorite converations is between the Avatar (you) and Cherche, a wyvern rider, where you set up a dating service of sorts for her wyvern, Minerva). And, of course, the music is pretty good. I bought it because I heard it was a good place to get into Fire Emblem, and that it did so many things right that the other FE games did wrong, so I did and I love this game. I do plan on playing other games in the series, like FE7 (Rekka no Ken, or just Fire Emblem in 'murica), or Sacred Stones.

I have played like 4 four fire emblem games but I did not really like any of them until I got awakening. It was a great start in the series having almost nothing to do with all the other ones and has an easy mode for beginners.

I do not think I could survive without the easy mode due to me always forgetting to buy more weapons for certain troops and stuff. I also am not exactly making the best choices for classes but I think they are working pretty good.

I have played a few of the games not including the newest one for the wii. I would have to say that my favorite one would tie between scared stones and the One with Hector Lyn and Elwood in it. They were the first ones I played and I immersed myself head first in them in middle school because I just couldn't get enough of how fun and difficult the games were.

Yus, people are actually doing FE stuff again! Yey!

I've played portions of FE 1,2,3, all of 6,7,8,11,13. So, I've played all the GBA games and every US-released DS/3DS game, as well as portions of the first 3 games.

I really haven't been able to choose between FE7 (Blazing Sword) and FE13 (Awakening) as my favorite game. Both are great, imo, and I've put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into each. Heck, I'm sure I've invested over 1,000 hours into FE7. lol!

Sacred Stones, without a doubt. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good Fire Emblem game.

That's a hard one to say. Sacred stones was a great one. Fe7 is another strong contender. Although, oddly enough, I gotta give it to path of radiance, just because it has most of my favorite characters from the series.
Funny enough, someone said above that he thought most people here have only played awakening
I believe FE: Awaking is the only one I
haven't played

My favorite is Path of Radiance(Radiant Dawn just wasn't there for me). I have  played the GC one, the WII one, all the DS ones, and the GBA ones. The only other one I've played is FE5 and it was a translation.

Fire emblem: Path of Radiance
I know not the most popular game in the series (maybe the least popular) but i loved the game non the less. This is probably mainly because it was the game that started the fire emblem craze. I loved the art work and the characters, it was one of the first games where i actually read the dialog. I also liked the "evolve as soon as you reach level 20" aspect of the game, made it alot easier instead of having to continuously save up to buy those evo items. Though many have come non have been able to surpass Ike and his band of mercenaries. Also the black knight was a straight bad ass.

That's a toughie. I really like Genealogy of the Holy War for it's story and large map size, but I also really like Sacred Stones because of it's story, and characters as well as map design. I'm gonna have to go with Genealogy, with Sacred Stones as a very close followup.

I personally started off with Shadow Dragon however it has became my least favorite...
I think my favorite must be a tie between Sacred Stones and Blazing Sword with Radiant Dawn as a close follow up....To be honest I like them all a whole lot. It does however sadden me that the newest release, Awakening, offered a game mode without perma-death....I feel as though it is an important staple that really keeps you hooked and on your toes while playing.

SentimentalValue :

Yeah he was. Of course, so was Ike.
By the end Ike just pushed through and din't let anything at all get in his way (including reason at times)
The type of guys who immediately decides to go through the ambush rather than around cause going around would take a day or two.
Same time though, man had a heart of Gold.

Ike and the Black Knight was an amazing rivalry.

So far my favorite Fire Emblem title would be the original Fire Emblem for GBA. I've only played a couple, but that one so far has made me struggle the most to get through it, which is what I like about the games (permadeath / strategy). And I really loved the characters in it especially Lyn and Eliwood.

I really enjoyed Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations. I loved having the option of not choosing either character's family to fight alongside, and usually that option is not given in other games, and sometimes the option of choosing who to fight for is not even an option. I love that it has a casual mode if you don't want permanent death, but at the same time can be a hard game.

I'm actually realy enjoying Shadow Dragon on the DS. The touch screen controls are top notch and it's just overall really cool. I'd play it more but my computer broke and I can't emulate it anymore, rip

I don't play many games if they are not on XBOX, so I do not think that I have ever played a Fire Emblem game. It honestly doesn't look like my kind of game series.
