So this girl who sits next to me in one of my courses and I have been talking casually during our class together. Eventually, there was an event with many activities to do, and so we spent about 3-4 hours together that day. This past week, we studied together for our final (by study, I mean we talked about 10% math and 90% everything else) and she ended up taking me to Chipotle that night. I get the feeling that she must like me.
Now, here's what I'm slightly confused about
I know the only way I can surely know if she wants to go out on a date is by asking her (which I will), but she has some "friend" that calls her babe and love. She has told me about herself, her mother (and maybe brother) but has never mentioned having a boyfriend. Here are my 2 conclusions until I ask her about it:
Does she likes me and would want to go out? *or* Does she have a boyfriend and makes it seem like she just likes me when she doesn't?

Here is the easy rule for all guys and girls to follow:

If the person talks to you regularly, they like you.  If you do more than just the work, the school, and the job at hand, like go out to eat and so on, they like you.

She may have a boyfriend or whatever or she has a guy who tries to get her attention.  That doesn't matter to you.  What you can do is offer to go out for something, food somewhere, and do non-school activities.  Don't try to define it or call it a date or anything.  Just ask, "If I grab Subway, do you want to eat it at (outdoor picnic location).  You got food for me so I owe you one."

That'll work nicely.  Just go hang out with her and get to know her.  You can reevaluate the relationship after that happens.  She's friendly, she probably has a few guys who flirt and talk to her.  That doesn't disqualify you.  Go get her!

Ro.kerr : This is hard to tell because you're older and probably more experienced than me. But in my opinion she maybe is interested in you and is trying to look if she likes you more than the other guy. I would listen to warmaker and go on some kind of 'date'.

Thank you both, I'll try and know her more. I'll probably ask her to the movies or something and work my way from there
