Run RunTemple Run 2 is actually a pretty amazing game. I first heard of the Temple Run games a very long time ago and I thought it looked pretty cool, but at the time I had no device to play it on. Last January when I got my first smartphone, I finally had a chance to give the original game a shot and I had a ton of fun playing it. I had a lot of fun with the first game, I would pretty much play the game for at least an hour every night and I did that for weeks because the game was so addicting. It was always fun trying to beat your high score or trying to run a further distance and I never got bored of the game. A couple months later, I realized that Temple Run 2 was a thing and ever since then my focus had been on the newer edition and I'm more than glad that I was able to find this game because it was so much better than the original game in my opinion. The game looked a lot better, there were more maps to the game, and overall the game was a lot more fun to play than the first.
Graphics - 7/10
The graphics are one of the things that have changed, but it hasn't really changed by much. That's not bad though, the graphics of the original game were good and I don't think they got any worse at all in the 2nd one. There's a pretty good amount of color, the detail put into the map and other aspects is good, and even though I have personally seen tba graphics glitch out on more than one occasion, I would have to say that the graphics work out really well for this game, especially considering that it's played on a phone. My grade for graphics is going to be a 7 out of 10.
Sound - 5/10
When it comes to sound, I'm not really going to point out much because there isn't really much to talk about. As a matter of fact, even though I have played this game so many timed, I can't recall if there's even any actual music I'm this game. As for regular sounds that come from playing the game, there's a bit. There's a distinct sound when you crash, when you jump, when you collect coins, and when a bunch of other I'm game events take place. Personally I think that the sound of the game is only decent and that a lot more work could have been done. My grade for sound is going to be a 5 out of 10.
Addictiveness - 8/10
As for the addictiveness of the game, its a lot like Jetpack Joyride, another great Windows Phone game because the game is basically an endless runner where you try to get as far as you can, instead of coins like In Joyride, this game features points as its secondary score but does use coins as well. The fun in the game is about doing the same randomized map over and over and trying to get as high a score as possible without dying. Making sure to run as far as you can is also important. That's where all of the games fun stems from, trying to beat personal bests and that's all there is to the addictiveness, but that also happens to be all that you need to have fun. This is the kind of game that you can play over and over and for that, my grade for addictiveness is going to be an 8 out of 10.
Story - N/A
When it comes to the story, there really is none, as I had mentioned in the last category, the game is just about beating your high score. This game doesn't even have thousands of levels for you to climb through like Joyride and for that I'm not going to give a grade for story.
Depth - 6/10
As for depth, I wouldn't say that there is much of that either, even though a lot of different places had been added to the map, there isn't really much to it. There aren't even that many things for you to buy in my opinion and that really hurts when figuring out what's in a game. For depth, I am going to give this game a 6 out of 10.
Difficulty. - 3
The game is NOT difficult, all you need to do is slide your finger up, down, left, and right, and that's it. It is not rocket science, for the first couple thousand meters, the game is quite calm and should be passed with very little difficulty. Once you get to say 3000 or 4000, then you are going to need to be quick or you could run into trouble, but that's about it. The game is not hard and my grade for difficulty is going to be a 3.
Overall.- 8/10
Overall, this is probably one of my 10 most favorite mobile games, and that's pretty good because I must have played at least a hundred. The game is a lot of fun and its very easy to get hooked and lose many hours of your life because of the game. I would assume that most people have played this, but if you haven't, well, why not? The game is a lot of fun and my overall grade is going to be an 8 out of 10.
