Spy Muppets - License to Croak Review by: Spicy - 5.7/10
Spy Muppets- License To Croak- Only for muppet's fans..Hello Imamonster here with another game review. It has been far to long since I made one. I just watched Muppet's Most wanted. And felt like playing some Muppet's games. So I checked vizzed. And I saw this game. It caught my attention And I HAD to play it. Left was a game that I was disappointed with .. This game got bad reviews and for good reason Let's go!
It was short and far to easy, And for a licensed game OK But enough rambling because if I continue I won't have enough to drag on about at the conclusion.
Graphics:8/10
I really liked the graphics in this game. They looked great and It really has a nice touch to it. The model of the Muppet's look Muppettastic.I loved the model of Kermit in his spy suit, It really looked like him.
All of you're favorite Muppet's are here and look fantastic. 'Piggy galore' Yes in this game she is a bad guy and looks Galore It really looks like if in the movies she would become a bad guy. You also have Mr. Nose which is gonzo. Yes he is also a bad guy. And last but not least 'King prawn' You Also ride on a speedway following Piggy galore's friends. The oil on the street looks legit. Before every level you need to make a vehicle. The items for you're car look great and Making the car and seeing how it looks sucked, But more about that later.I Liked the backgrounds in every level. In the background of the vehicle making level you see tears in the wall and when you're riding on fozzy (Known as Agent Triple-F in this game.) You are riding on snow and the light blue background looks nice. There is some flickering here and there tough. The background where you are throwing snowballs at Gonzo's chicken's is just awesome. It looks Snowtastic and very detailed. It looks like something from a muppet's movie.
Overall the graphics look Awesome even tough there is some flickering. It is pleasant for my eyes and I really enjoyed the graphics. But as us Retro gamers know Graphics are not everything.
Sound:10/10
The sound was very lively and is something I will listen to outside of this game. The sound effects are great and wacky. The music man the music. I just loved it really I did. The music is up beat and makes you want to continue the game. It sound fantastic and it is hard not to repeat my self in this area. I don't really know why I like the music so much.Maybe because it really feels like something from the movie. About the sound effects. They are very satisfying. When you throw a fruit at a enemy it really feels good.
The music is just Muppettastic (Overused words? YEAH!!) I wanted to look who composed this game but I saw no one. I get that since this is a Not well known game.
Overall the sound is great. And I have the music on my music player. The sound effects are wacky and funny. Fantastic music really shines in this game... But is this game any good on the other categories?
Addictiveness: 6/10
This game is not good, but for whatever reason I needed to continue. It's probably because I'm a huge muppets fan. And that is really the only Category of people I would reccomend it to. Let's start off with the gameplay, It goes like this: You choose which bad guy to fight. Then you make a vehicle (Which is very easy but I will get in to that later.) then you go on a stage riding on that vehicle. Then you have a mini game, Consistant with the baddie's character. THEN you fight the bad guy. Really that is what you do EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can see it being boring for someone that is not a muppet's fan. But I just wanted to see the ending, It was a huge dissapointment. But I won't spoil that. Now was I addicted? Yes for the 20 minutes of this game I was. The story was a lot of fun so that is why I wanted to continue.
Now I promised to tell you about how you make you're vehicle. It is ridicoulosly easy. You can already see which item you need to pick up on a little screen. It ALREADY SHOWS THE ITEM. It shows it in black yes but that still really takes away from the fun factor in this game. Also this game is far to easy!!

Overall: This game was addicting, But only for big muppet's fans like me. The game was ridicoulosly easy. Let's go to the Story!
Story: 8/10
I love the story in this game, it is a parody of james bond with all the James Bond character's
replaced by muppets. I don't really know alot of James Bond So I won't be the One to give you comparisons, Sorry. Now the story is
Kermit the Frog works as Agent Frog for Agent Patriot, Who vowes to defeat Dr. Nose, Piggy Galore, and King Prawn
Now I know one thing, The title is a spoof of the James Bond movie- Licence to kill. After beating one of the villains you Kermit heads to Agents B and B to bring the gadget the bad guys used. Dr. Nose (a wordplay on Dr. No) has a plan to turn the earth into a giant egg that was at one point foiled by M.U.P.P.E.T.
You can see how much fun the developers had. And even if this game sucks, It is pretty funny and I like the story a lot. Now I'm not gonna tell more as it is very hard to tell you the story in this game with out spoiling it. Let me tell you. It is a short game so telling you more about the story would be dangerous. ^^
Overall I liked the story But you can also look up a gameplay to enjoy the story. You don't have to play the game.
Depth: 1/10
This is what I wanted to tell you about... this game is criminally short. I would be offended buying this game even if it was 3 cents. Now Like I said, These are the only things you do: You choose which bad guy to fight. Then you make a vehicle then you go on a stage riding on that vehicle. Then you have a mini game, Consistant with the baddie's character. THEN you fight the bad guy All you do the entire game.. Really that Is all you do.... I was done in less then 20 minutes... and this is a GBA game and I know someone can complete this in 10 minutes. It is crazy that they would make a game this short on a system that came out in the Late 90's to very early 2000's.There is not a lot to talk about without repeating my self. This game is far to freaking short. It is just strange to me.
Overall the depth is criminal and Is just offensive for someone that paid the full price. I played it free here on vizzed but Let me Tell you I would be mad If I gave ONE cent for this game.
Difficulty: 1/10
This game is far to easy... Far to freaking easy... Now Hold on to your seats because This is going to be the wildest part of the ride!! Now like I said this game is easy... So easy.
Throwing snow balls: EASY.. Really you're health bar is as big as the tower of london. It is just like COME ON!!. I already told you about the vehicle So I won't talk about that again. There is no limit to you're continues and even if yo uare failing miserably you still get 4 or 5 stars. I only died once ONLY ONCE. And that was because I was not paying attention because my Brother walked in to the room. The end boss... I'm not gonna spoil who it is but it is just crazy. SO easy. It makes this game Not fun. and when you're riding on snow with you're vehicle avoiding trees and stones Even if you're big Health meter dies you can ride on Fozzie (Agent Triple F) Like come on!!
Overall This game is far to easy and In parts like riding on you're vehicle just stupid.

If you have not read some of my reviews you're probably thinking A Memories category? Yes. I like to be a bit original with my reviews.
Now Like I said I was looking for a muppet's game after watching the muppet's most wanted (A muppet's movie with hornsowggle.... Brilliant no really that was awesome) I saw this one. I was dissapointed with it, So I don't have a real memory of it.
OVERALL: 5.7
Overall this game is far to easy far to short Great sound and story and A game that is bad. I only reccomend it to Big Muppet's fans. Imamonster turns off the lights. Bye!
