The Pro Yakyu Super '94 is a follow-up to The Pro Yakyu Super. With the exception of a new mode, different music, commentary, and slight interface changes, the gameplay is largely identical to that of the previous entry. Rosters of the licensed professional Japanese baseball teams have been updated to the current season. The new mode is called "Home Run Contest"; the player controls a batter against a computer-controlled pitcher, trying to score a home run.

Hidden Stadiums
At the main menu, choose "Exhibition" mode. At the Ground Select screen, highlight "?", hold Select + Left/Right/Down and press I to start in one of three hidden stadiums.
Hidden Teams
At the main menu, choose "Exhibition" mode. At the team selection screen, press any of the following buttons:
Central Team - Hold Select and press I
Pacific Team - Hold Run and press I
Sound Test and Ending
At the game mode screen, chose "Exhibition Match", then pick your team. At the stadium select screen, highlight "?", hold Start and press Button 1. If done right, you'll enter the sound test. In addition, highlight "????" and hold Select and press Button 1 to watch the ending.
