Portal Still Alive Review. Dauntez
Warning, there is some spoilers! It's for the Story!
Graphics:
The Graphics are pretty good, not as good as portal two, but yeah. The Graphics are realistic and are clear, if you look at the water, it looks like water, (Although, water is more clear than what it show, huh, oh well) and the glass looks pretty real, what else? Oh, yeah, the toilet, that looks pretty good, I mean, it's kinda weird that there is toilets in the game, plural, like there are many. You also have the robots, they look like they would be real, "I'm different", "Target lost" those were two quotes that the turret bots say. But overall, I give the Graphics a "8".
Sound:
I don't really see any problem with the sound, I can't even recall the sound being bad, I would have to say the sound is amazing, but I don't know what is good for the sound, because Shenmue, the sound is not very good, I would rate it like a 5 or something. But with it being said, I give the sound a "9".
Addictive:
The game is not as Addictive as Portal 2, but Portal Still alive is addictive. When you play you can earthier be like, "Meh, I'm done, I don't feel like playing." or you could feel like this "I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME 24/7!!! I WOULD NEVER STOP!!!" not really though, but you get the point. The game can be Addictive or not, so that why I give it a "7".
Story:
The story is pretty funny, and it has not even got as good as it will get! The story is funny in Portal 2 even more though, (Why am I even doing Portal Still Alive?) Spoilers coming up, skip it if you don't want any! Why is there a toilet robot? It does not make sense, and why does everyone talk about when life gives you lemons, there are just some things, that cannot be answered, like those. I will have to say though, I give the Story a "8".
Depth:
The game has a big Depth to it, the game takes awhile to beat, and I have not even beat the game yet, and Portal 2 took me 4-6 months to beat! The game has a lot to offer, and sometimes, it gets to be a tad bit boring, but the depth of the game is not the biggest that I've seen, Final Fantasy VII has an even bigger depth, but back to Portal Still Alive, the game can have more depth for different people, the game could be very quick to beat and you would say like 6 or 7, but no, I say it's a "9".
Difficulty:
The game to me is hard, I don't really have to much too say about this, but let me say.
In the game you use a portal gun, you have two portals that you can make with one gun, you have to shoot it at white walls/floors/ceilings/, and sometimes you have to build up momentum to get to places, so I have to say its a "8".
Rating:
I love the game, but it's not as good as Portal 2, so I give it a '8", a solid "8".

Portal: Review thetotherguy93
Portal: Still alive is a really great game made by valve. You play as a test subject in a top secret Facility, Aperture Science Labs doing nothing other than tests. The point is to make it to the end of a test chamber using the portal gun. The Aperture Science Hand Held Portal Device, (or Portal Gun for short) isn't a gun that shoots lasers or throws bombs or anything like that. The portal gun shoots two linked portals, and orange and a blue one, that you can travel through. In short, you can go through one portal and come out the other. The Tests are easy at first, for instance, putting cubes on buttons. however, as you finish more tests, they get harder and more complicated. They add new testing elements such as energy balls, moving platforms, toxic goo, and turrets. As you go through portal, there is an AI voice that guides you through the tests named GLaDOS. GLaDOS is a strange, female, Robotic voice that speaks to you during the tests and is in control of Aperture Science Labs. She is the one who is watching you and who made you her test subject. One test element that is very peculiar are the turrets. The turrets of course shoot bullets at you, but the thing strange bout them is that they have a cute but sinister voice and say things like "Are you still there" or "I See You". In one test, Glados gives you a cube named "The Companion Cube" which you hold throughout the test but soon, you must let go... At the end of the tests, Glados Promises cake however it appears to just be a trick .As you explore the rest of aperture science, you realize that there are no workers or scientists, Just Glados. It's really eerie. What happened to Aperture science? Where are the workers? wheres the cake? well now your'e thinking with portals!
