Overall:  6/10--Did you ever watch the game show Double Dare?  Well, this video game has none of that excitement!  This is more of a multiple-choice question quiz.  The fun part about the TV show was watching the kids play the games and get green slime all over themselves!  You don't get to do that at all in the video game.  The mini-games that I played include throwing a banana at a monkey, putting a hole with a golf club, and tossing a ball at a clown.  Like I said, not too much excitement.  I had never played the video game until recently, so it was a fun way to relive my childhood.  It is a decent game, and worth a try since the game goes so quickly.  Some of the questions are really dated, but that adds to the fun!  "What is Pee Wee Herman's real name?"  Oh yes, good times, see if you can remember some of these answers in this trip down memory lane.  If you are too young to know some of the answers, don't worry since there are three possible answers to guess from.

Graphics:  6/10--The graphics aren't anything special.  You can see things clear enough, but there's not much detail.  You have to read the questions and answer choices and it's all easy enough to read.  There are some mini-games that aren't designed too well.  They involve selecting a speed and angle to throw something at something else, like a banana at a monkey.  The character animations are a bit boring.

Sound:  6/10--There are some sound effects to go along with the game, but nothing too great.  The ticking timer gets a bit irritating.

Addictiveness:  6/10--I ended up playing the game a couple times through to see what kinds of different questions I could get.  The questions repeated a lot though.  After I played once, the same questions were in the very next game, so that was disappointing, but at least I knew the answers so I could rack up more points!

Story:  There is no story, since this is a quiz-type of video game.  You just want to try to score more points than your opponent.

Depth:  6/10--As I mentioned already, the questions end up repeating, so the replay value isn't that great.  It is kind of fun to try to improve your score and see if the computer opponents will "dare" or "double dare" you during the question part of the game.  While I played I tried not to "dare" or "double dare" since then you give control of the questions over to the opponent if they answer correctly.

Difficulty:  7/10--The most difficult part of Double Dare are the mini-games to determine which player goes first.  It took me forever to get that banana directly in the giant monkey's hand!  The questions during the other part of the game are fairly simple.  If you didn't know the answer, they offer you three choices to pick from, so the answer usually jumps right out at you.  Although I did have a couple questions were it seemed like more than one answer made sense.  For example, what is a pullicologist?  Someone who studies fleas, really?
