Konami's Badlands is a special game as it was released on laser disc. It contains animated video sequences making full use of the graphical video capabilities and storage capacity of laser disc media.In Konami's Badlands you control the character Buck, who's wife and children are brutally murdered by a gang of outlaws led by the notorious Gandolf.
Now, all Buck wants is to revenge their deaths. He wants to kill every single gang member and the last one he is going to kill is their leader Gandolf.First, you have to find each en every outlaw and a good place to start is the local town.
When you found one of them you'll have to face them in a showdown.
On your quest for revenge you'll enter various locations, such as the local town, a jungle with prehistoric monsters, entering a cave full of bats.
First, Buck does not shoot an outlaw before he has
drawn a weapon because if he does he will be hanged or jailed and if he, by accident, shoots innocent people he also will be jailed or hanged and you'll loose a life!
But you, as you control Buck, need to have fast reflexes because you shoot kill an outlaw before he kills you.The game can be played by two players alternating.
