Finally Mouse Trap gets the video game treatment classgame
Okay I have decided to create a new rule for myself, if I can't managed to get to a thousand words per review, I will try and find a game to finish and then review because I feel I can do better than this, so I had better shape up in tomorrow's review, so I might as well do something board game based.
Gameplay and Story: There is no story just board games, unless you count Operation where you have to operate on what I'm guessing is the sickest person ever. Then you have Simon an electronic game where you basically follow the leader as it were. And then there's Mouse Trap, a game that I'm surprised hasn't gotten attention in the video game department not even a stinking handheld game, even Operation got the Handheld treatment.
Soundtrack: well this one went out one ear and out the other sadly.
Addictive: well I don't come across this game often enough so...whatever
Depth: well it depends on how long it takes to finish each game, I finished Simon rather quickly and it took awhile to finish mouse trap.
Difficulty: I actually did own the board game version of Mouse Trap 25 years ago but I do regret that I never learned how to play it properly. Hell all this time I didn't even know that we had to stretch that elastic in the leg rather than take it out. I'd be willing to try a physical copy of mouse trap now though.
Post review follow up: I'm actually going to be playing the PC version of Operation this summer mostly because it was in stores, it was there I figured "eh sure why not" even though I was looking for Sorry. This game is a harmless distraction if you need to play something quickly.
Okay, I think I will review Golden Axe tomorrow because at least I will have quite a bit to say in that department
