I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. When I was younger, I used to play a lot of Breakout games on PC. I'm not talking about the console games or the flash games. I'm talking about the Breakout games you had to download. A lot of the Breakout games I played were made anywhere from 1 to 2 decades ago, and I can only remember two  titles I played long ago: Magic Ball and Hyperballoid. The rest  of the titles I forgot. Can anyone give me a list of Breakout games made for the PC from 1996 to 2006?

I don't know many specifically for PC, but some of the ones you might find here on Vizzed are-

Alleyway - GBC
Arkanoid Returns - PS1
Arkanoid: Doh It Again! - SNES

These actually are for the PC-
Ricochet: Lost Worlds
Ricochet: Lost Worlds (Recharged)
Ricochet: Xtreme
Ricochet: Infinity

These were all found through a search engine. I apologize if they weren't exactly what you were hoping for, but they all fit into the years you described.

You also might be able to find some freeware clones, I know there is a Mario fan game that is based on Breakout, I think it's at the Mario Fan Game website, just look it up on Google. I know there are some breakout clones on Gamejolt, and they throw a bit of a spin on it. Like Mynamescox44 said there is the Ricochet series which is great. Of course there is ROMS of retro breakout games. Alleyway is fun, so is the Arkanoid series, and there are many variants. Check out Mobygames.com as well. Great site/game database.
