So, I'm thinking of hosting a Rocket League Tournament or a Rocket League League here on Vizzed.
If you don't know what Rocket League is, it's a PC (as well as PS4 and XBOX ONE) game that uses RC cars to play soccer, hockey, and basketball. Though, most people know the game for the soccer aspect.
If there is a enough interest, then we can discuss as a group the rules that we'd like, and whether or not you want a league or a tournament. Honestly, right now I'm just trying to see if there is enough interest around to bother setting something like this up.
There is 1 thing though; the game is cross-platform, with some restrictions. PC can play PC, PS4, and XBOX ONE. However, XBOX ONE and PS4 are not cross compatible yet (Sony doesn't seem to like the idea of cross-platform play, from what I can tell. [I have an Xbox one, and my roommate has a PS4. We both have Rocket League, yet can't play each other unless it's on the same console]) So, you need to own the game on at least PC. If this does happen, and you own the game on PS4 or XBOX ONE, you can play on that. I just want people to own it on at least PC. (Why? Because if somebody who only has it on XBOX ONE and another person who only has it on PS4 manage to reach the playoffs or see each other in the tournament, how are they going to have their match if PS4 and XBOX ONE can't play each other? I can work the schedule around that issue, but if they meet when it's time for the eliminations, there is nothing I can do.)
I'm asking the mods now to leave this open until at least the end of Black Friday. That gives people a week to see this.
