Hey guys another question from me again. It seems like another weird question I know, but I'll explain on what the thread title means. When you have 2 toilets in your house which will be separated in your house. For my one in the house there is one in the bathroom all the way upstairs near my room, but another one down the stairs near where the kitchen is. When my father used to be in the house for one reason if he was to go to the loo during the day or night he would always go to the one that was downstairs. As for my mother she would go upstairs, and use the one in the bathroom. I think it was mainly because to keep a eye on me if anything happens. Till this day she does still use the one that is in the bathroom. I actually asked her one point of why she doesn't use the one that is downstairs, then she said so I can sometimes come into your room to check up on you. Anyways, when my mother comes up the stairs during the night? She is so so....quiet. You won't be able to hear her footsteps not unless your me, and your good at hearing when she comes up the stairs. Anyways that's it from my part. So what about you guys?

Well, my parents just use what ever toilet is closer to them.

During the day my parents will sit down stairs and watch TV, so during that time they'll just use the bath room that's downstairs. My mom even has a tooth brush and tooth paste in the down stairs bath room for brushing her teeth and that kind of thing before she heads up stairs at night for bed.

We actually have 2 bath rooms upstairs, one being the "kid's" bath room, and the other being in my parents master bed room. Any time they're upstairs or in bed, they just use the one that is attached to their room. It's nice because since I like to stay up so late every night, and they really don't like it when I do so, they don't even have to leave their room to go potty in the middle of the night. Makes it a heck of a lot easier for me to get away with staying up lol.

Though my dad will always go upstairs to use his bath room when he's dropping a deuce. He likes to smoke a cigarette when that's happening, so the only bath room ( really, the only room in general ) that my mom allows him to do it in is that one, since it has a window right above / behind the toilet itself.

Mynamescox44 : Oh.....I see I haven't heard from others or other people so far haven't posted here yet. So I wasn't sure how the response would be when someone was to post here. I think some parents would do what your parents would do. Like use the toilet that is most closest to them which of course would make sense to do. I do that as well, but then at times my mother will tell me to go to the bathroom in case I am making a poo. Because any visitor can come to the house and she wouldn't want the downstairs corridor stinking if you understand what I mean. Even though mine doesn't really smell so much I still go to the one all the way upstairs. Not unless I am really desperate, that I would have to use the downstairs toilet.

Eniitan : where I live we have a bathroom in our basement and one upstairs but because my mom has a walker she has to use the one upstairs my dad will use both but usually uses the basement washroom,there was a time a couple of years ago when my mom used to be able to go downstairs but ever since she had to start using a walker to get around she can,t go to the basement anymore

no 8120 : Oh I see.....I am really sorry to hear about your mother. I hope she is fairing well? That's the first I've heard someone having one in the basement. Was the basement always cold or used for something? Since I have never been to a basement so I wouldn't know what its like. In a way the toilet in your basement reminds me of my downstairs toilet.

Eniitan : our basement is actually what is called a finished basement that has a work room,laundry room and a bar beside our basement washroom as well as a living room as  for my mom she had a bad fall a couple of years ago where she broke her left ankle but she has recovered quit a bit since then she is 80 years old but is still able to get around pretty good XD

For the most part, whatever is closest to them. Though I do remember my father trying to build a second bathroom upstairs, he got it halfway done. On my part, I use the master bathroom, it is more spacious and I get more privacy since it is on the other side of the home. I rarely use the guest bathroom, it's like another dimension, I sometimes walk in just to make sure it is still there and to clean it. 

no 8120 : That's really good to know I had to ask to see where she is now today. Having hearing of a story like that I needed to know how she I doing today from then. Also thank you for explaining the other part of the question to do with the basement.

jlove92 : Oh lol the master bathroom seems very nice from what I am getting. Oh there is a guest bathroom? Wow that's pretty cool I have been in a house before where I saw there are two bathrooms. Actually my uncle in Nigeria has one, I used it a few times when I was over there at one time.

I don't really have two toilets so I wouldn't really know, our current toilet is about busted as well so I don't really know what to say about that ^^;

As for what I would do, I would pick whichever one makes it to where I don't have to walk by people on the way there because that would be awkward.

yoshirulez! : Sorry to hear about your toilet being busted, and not being able to work properly, that's a real bummer. Yeah that's the thing I make sure I don't do that, also it wouldn't be a cool thing to happen. If it does I rush to the downstairs toilet so that make things a little more easier for me. I am sure this happens to most people and they would have to debate who goes in first, because of how one is desperate to go into the toilet first. This is to happen if you only have one toilet in the house though.

I don't really keep track of it... but I remember dad saying he prefers the toilet near the kitchen because he considers the other one upstairs as "for us" (basically, he means for girls in the family since he is the only guy in the house). All his soaps and other shower stuff are also in the CR near the kitchen. As for me, I prefer the one upstairs because it's near my closet and the supplies box (extra tissues, soaps, napkins etc.) and the toilet flash uses less water. The entrance can also be covered so if I want to, I can easily change clothes right after going out if I don't feel like doing so inside (the CR can get really steamy and uncomfy when changing clothes after shower). Dad designed the house so I'm sure he really made it that way. The CR downstairs is in open sight upon entering the house lol.

Juliet : That's a pretty good structured way to have things done in your house. And I see things flow pretty well. The most important thing really is to have something that works well and flow. Like for instance my tissues sadly are not anywhere near the bathroom upstairs so I would have to go all the way downstairs where it is kept in this room to get it sadly. That's why at times I would bring up like 3 or 4 roles of tissues so it saves me from going downstairs to get another. '-'
