MoblinGardens :

Oh, Yeah!

I was just looking at the time you and I registered. Did we really both register about a month from each other? XD That's kinof funny. XP

My book, is actually a novel written in a fantasy world during the medieval period. It has many authentic European themes from close to the 12th century in real life.

The story revolves around a boy who's mother was a witch. It's about how his mother was accused of cursing these farmers crops and burning them. Causing the enraged peasants to take vengeance upon her home by setting it on fire in return. The mom reacts by hiding her son in a large upturned cauldron. Protecting him from the fiery debri.

The next morning, farmers return to dig out the wreckage and uncover the boy. He is adopted by a priest, and story continues to center on the boy's choices as he looks upon both his past and present. A user of this has read it, and he really likes it. I thought for a long time about how to make the story original and avoid constantly overused tropes. People tell me it's fairly unique! Between my two beta readers, User gave it a 7, and F.starr gave it an 8! It has a lasting impact on people's mind and. . . I'm just really proud of it. ^^

My aunt, who already does well in writing told me to work on a sequel right away. It's possible I'll release my first book late this month, or early in November. (Or late, who knows.) I have cover art on the way, it only cost me 70$, and I'm willing to give some members a sneak peak at it here.

(Content hidden from non-Trusted users!)

So yeah. Hope you don't mind me rambling. I really did enjoy making it. ^^'

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .

MoblinGardens : That's cool! I like the kind of restaurants like the ones we mentioned where you feel welcomed and can really enjoy your food and conversation without worry.

Hey, thanks for asking! Good to hear that you're doing well. I don't think we've met here on the forums but it's nice to meet you.

I was inactive for around two years and returned to Vizzed a month ago. And I have enjoyed the stay so far.
I'm just getting back to my feet after some misfortunes and it's taken a few months to get my personal stuff sorted. I feel like I'm in control of my life again so that's a great thing. All I need to do is finish my thesis and I'm pretty much done with everything I have going on. The only thing I need to worry about is unemployment but that's something I'll handle in the future. So yeah, life's good. :-)

I've been playing a lot of different games recently and my current goal is to unlock the ps1 section here on Vizzed. I have so many games on that console that I'd like to revisit or some that are entirely new to me. I mentioned my little misfortune with Star Ocean: Second Story in the other forum and that's a game that I NEED to play, no matter what. So yeah, school stuff and games, that's what's going on for me right now.

Well, on a short term, I've been pretty chill. It's the weekend, and I'm getting some much-needed rest from my busy high school life.

On the longer term, though, I've got a storm coming; I'm gonna have even less time to myself.

Competition season is fast approaching for One Act, and lemme tell you: One Act for us is
hardcore. It gets very competitive in our division, especially when we advance to regionals. We have to perfect our play like nobody can ever believe for us to get to state and get another state win, especially when the competing schools and judges are out for our blood. This requires about 5-6 practices a week, especially on tech week. (I'm just thankful that we have an awesome drama coach!) It's also not resting well on me that our fate this year rests partly on my shoulders as I have my first ever lead role, so I have work to do in terms of awkwardness and speaking.

Also, my academics are getting even harder. In Chemistry, we're starting to balance equations. It doesn't really help that I have a tough teacher who gives a lot of homework.
And in Pre-Calculus, we're solving multiple denominator equations, and it's quite difficult to wrap my head around it, so I'll have to study ever so diligently to get an A in that class.

My family and I are in a constrictive financial situation; I don't want Mom to get a job & change life around the house for us, so
Sword legion : I've taken to writing as well. I'm in the progress of planning a beautiful post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel. Hopefully, that'll rake in some cash for us and notoriety I'll need in the future.

On Vizzed, I'm posting here and there, patiently saving up to change the stupid user name I grew out of 5 years ago.

Overall, I think things are going to be alright for me.

Pardon the ramble, but this place seems to be a good one to get things off my chest.

Kackarot : Wow sounds like you have a lot going on. Hopefully you make it to state! I remember balancing chemistry equations in high school. It gets real easy once you get the hang of it. Sometimes a lot of homework is a good thing because it will just mean that you will know the content better. Good preparation if you decide to go to post secondary school. Your novel sounds interesting as well.

I am doing alright I guess. Been a rough few weeks, between being sick, and then my relationship fell apart, but I am doing alright, could be worse. I just keep myself busy with other things, either doing some yard work, doing some things helping others and making some $$$$, working on some video projects for a few people, and now just getting around to working on new content for my Youtube channel.

Well, I will start off by saying, I'm a huge Misfits fan. I have favorite songs from all three singers. How about you. Anyway, to the question, I'm doing okay. I had a long night at work, but I'm over it now. lol I'm just sitting back with my other half watching some horror movies. Tis the season, but then again I'm a horror geek, so that is all year. How are you doing. I'm going to assume you are in to horror movies, so I'm going to ask, what are some of your favorites?

Things are pretty good right now for me I suppose. There are a lot of good new things happening in my life right now but there are also some things going on that cause me quite a great deal of stress every now and again.

As for the things in my life that I am excited about right now. I have recently started courses to become an accountant which in itself I know probably does not sound to exciting. I have been living on my own for quite some time now and in recent months I have been feeling like I am in a more stable situation than I was in before financially speaking. I am also getting more involved in social activities which is good because I am kind of a loner and do not really have many friends to speak of. (Or any really lol)

There are some things that could be better though. I have recently had to have surgery for a intestinal disorder that I have. It has been some months since the surgery but I am still feeling the effects from it. There are also some problems going on within my family, but all families have their problems I suppose.

Anyway, that's what is going on with me as of late. Like always, I hope that anyone reading this has enjoyed doing so as much as I have enjoyed sharing with you.

Also, my apologies if this post got kind of long.

Not too great honestly. Something happened recently that really affects our household and I've been losing motivation to come on here because of it.

Now, I'm going to try to fight that by posting more and playing on the MC server. Want to at least make it to 5 years before I risk disappearing lol.

Hi! I don't think we've ever met before, so it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm fairly new to Vizzed but I'm trying my best to become a good citizen of Vizzed. XD

Anyways, how have you been? lol I hope you're still enjoying school!

Right now, I'm actually pretty content. My job doesn't suck, my life doesn't suck, and I have good friends.

I do wish I had more days off, but what can I do?
