So we all had that days. Either of it being boiling hot from the sun to the rainy days. When your parents normally asked you to run to the store to buy things how many hours does this take you? It can take you quite a while depending on how long the list is or how short the list is. I've had that a few times when on my way back home from somewhere while on the bus. My mother would call in to ask me to buy her something from the store, and I would be more than happy too. This wouldn't take me long I would say ruffly 10 mins? Since she would ask me to buy her one item. But, when it comes to me and my shopping it could take longer since it would be things for baking. So normally it would take me an hour to do while making sure I have everything of what I need to bake with. Sometimes this would be a fun thing for people to do while at other times. Not many people would be happy to do it since it would be boring for them. So what about you?

I don't live anywhere near a store within walking distance, so we always have to drive about 2 miles in order to get to the closest big store, so when we need something, we all go as a family and get everything we need-or think we need. Rarely does anyone just go alone, and if they do its my mom because everyone else is busy.

My parents also probably don't exactly trust me with a ton of money so..,

Barathemos : Aww that's cute. You know way back in the day my family used to do that. But then.....not anyone at times it does become boring when going shopping with the same person. It is nice when going on your own, but you reminded me of something....I really miss going shopping with my family as a whole it doesn't always happen the only time it happens is once a year, and that's when Christmas comes around. Have fun while it lasts bara. '-'

We live rather far away from the closest store, so it takes a while to walk there :v. The only one who walks there is my mom, and she can take 2-3 hours (sometimes like 5) to go there and get back.

I used to be dragged along to the store when I was little and couldn't be trusted to be home by myself, and that would take a few hours because my mom takes quote a while shopping. Nowadays almost all the time I stay home when my parents are out and they take 2-3 hours to get back.

ZeeTee : Oh you too? I see that sounds really far of a distance for that to happen. Yeah I got that too when I was young, but as we grow older the parents start to let us go on our own. But, that is when they will allow us too. I see yeah that's basically me when mum goes shopping or go out to places other places. XD

I wish my parents would even let me go to the store by myself to buy things for them.

They would force me to come to the store with them for literally no reason. I mean, if they don't need me, can't they leave me alone? I'm just gonna stand there and follow them until they're done. And normally it takes a while because my family are slow in everything. (walking, buying ...etc) And they often fight over stupid things.

Mohammedroxx3 : Sorry to hear about that and your a grown young man they should allow you. Yeah what's the point of forcing you to go if they don't need you since it doesn't really make no sense too?..... Oh that's even have to be more annoying for you. Sorry for you to be going through that types of things. :/

I don't live that close to a store, so my parents have never told me to go pick something up from the store, since I can't drive yet. I have been asked when we were shopping at one store to go get something from a nearby store, and that's usually not too bad, lol. The closest store to my house is easily a good 2 miles away, and there's a bunch of trees and no sidewalk, so my parents wouldn't let me walk that part, since it's kinda dangerous and it would take forever. 

RDay13 : Wow.... you, zero, bara, and some others live far away from the store. I'm really surprised at this. Because I suspected at least mot people would like live  near a local shopping area place I guess I was wrong about that. I am learning so much with these replies...2 miles sounds a long way off. @.@

I live within walking distance of at least twenty different stores selling different wares. That includes convenience stores, phone shops, clothing markets, etc. Since I'm a fast walker it usually doesn't take me any longer than fifteen minutes to and fro.

Should we have to get something big, though, the nearest supermarket is about a ten minutes drive away. We go as a family and I help load stuff in the car.

IStillSeeTheX : I see that's kind of good in a way I mean your not so far off from them. Unlike the others I feel sorry for not being even close to one. You are a good distance away from them which in a way would make your journey very easy. That's all people want its very good when live in a house your house should be at least near to the closest stores.
