Eniitan : my first impression of Viz was that I was totally amazed by the number of games and different game systems that are available here before Viz I used to go to 3 different game sites one for ATARI games one for NINTENDO and another for game gear games but after discovering Viz it,s really nice to be able to play all these games on 1 website

no 8120 : Yeah I mean who wouldn't? And you got to play games from consoles that you were not able to get when you were younger. So it helped when you explored to play other different games on each different retro console. Oh you were to 3 different sites before vizzed? But, can I ask you a question please? Did those sites have like saving for you like to save the game? Or did vizzed have something much more to offer to that than those sites?

When I first came here, I didn't even bother seeing what Vizzed was like. I joined just so I can games. I didn't even check out the site til over a month later. After seeing what Vizzed was like, I grew to like it more than I did before. I thought it was a neat site to go to, and I still think it's a fun place.

I thought it has a viris at first so I always played games in the browser nobody cares about (Internet Explorer) since I couldn't care less if that browser got affected. 

Turns out it didn't so I started using chrome and haven't had any problems with malware since joining~

AriaAngelDream : That's what some people would do as long as there are the childhood games that they played then they wouldn't really care about checking the site properly. Not until it dawns upon them of a thought to check it out and see what its like. I'm glad you grew to like it. There isn't many sites that you would have fun on as much as vizzed.

Furret : Oh....I see yeah people would think that way, and will debate if they should download the plugin for it. Its a good thing you tried didn't you? And I bet you were happy that you did it in the first place.

Back when I first found Vizzed, I was really impressed with every thing about it. 

I didn't actually post a whole lot, but I was amazed at how awesome the community was on the Board. I spent a lot of time looking through Threads and just laughing my head off at all the crazy and funny things the people here would say. I wish I never left for as long as I did, considering this place was just as awesome in late 2012 when I registered as it was when I came back in late '15 as well as since then. I would consider my self a newbie in both cases, seeing as how I never really became active out side of the RGR until just a few months ago.

As for the games themselves, blown away doesn't even come close to describing how I felt about them. I didn't think it was possible for a site to have so many play-able games, let alone making them so easily accessible with a universal Plug-In. The selection is so incredibly enormous, you could literally spend most of the rest of your life only playing retro games, and still always find some thing new to play. The emulators are all incredible and loaded with features, which is something I was also very impressed with, not to mention the huge variety of emulators to choose from so you can even pick one that best suits your play / gaming style.

The fact that on top of all of this, the site has tons of reviews, guides, etc for a lot of these games was also an amazing thing to see. As if the site wasn't amazing enough, there's an amazing group of Staff members that are willing to dedicate so much time into making the site the very best it could possibly be in every way, which really gave me an idea of how great a place this was.

All in all, I was dumbfounded when I came across this site. I'm disappointed in my self it took me as long to come back as it did.

Mynamescox44 : Yeah most people would do that. Like oh my god the games first. Rinse by playing a lot then come to find out about the board much later on. I realize people go to the rgr first because that catches the most attention and then people would either not know or to realize the board and then come up on that when they want too. There is so many things you can be impressed by and to explore things you would end up enjoying. Like making new friends, help more for the community, doing things not everyone does, and just in general enjoy what goes around on the board. I mean like vizzed is really something special. If you can find it hard to believe I came here without intending the friend anyone and be on my own....look how things changed for me for the better? Anything can happen in the world of vizzed when stepping on the site.

When I first see the board, it look to me horrible and I couldn't always have considered registering.Then, I checked few of the threads and liked the users.That creates my account.

Welcome to vizzed it will take time getting used too so I suggest taking a look around get to know some people, and find something that would interest you. I always felt the site was pretty cool. I always liked how many games there where, and when I signed up I didn't know too much about the forums, but I knew there were some cool users on the forums.

I just liked vizzed when I signed up.

Barathemos : Yeah that's how we all felt when we first signed up. Man its changed from how it was before. Like thinking of the past till now, and seeing so many changes, that have happened good or bad. I was shocked to see how many games the rgr ones, that it can withstand because not like many other sites can do what David does.

Back then i was still trying to figure out how to download the plugin and downloading more stuff need to run the plugin, at first that sucked...but after all of that, this site was amazing. I could play all the classic pokemon games i want without worrying of losing my saves (thanks to other sites)

supercool22 : Yeah.....its either you get it the first time around or you don't. Most people would get it the second time around so its ok at the time it wasn't really so easy to understand, but as soon as you got it you got to play the games that you've always wanted from your childhood days.

When I first came here. I first went to the RGR. 
It seemed like a good resource for information on games and I thought that's what I would mainly use it for.

Very soon after, I was playing games on the site... then posting to get Viz to play more games. Now I am a global... so yea... much different view than when I started.

Vanelan : Hmm I see some people may do that, or just play the games because its there. That way you did that to help build what you needed to know knowledge wise.

My first impression was simply "Yay rom hacks!" as I was searching for Pokémon rom hacks, though I eventually visited the board and the rest is history.

18mlivingston : I would think the same as well. The most know games people are to look for is either sonic games, or pokemon games. For me I went to pokemon games after I found sonic 2, and was happy with the amount of times I got to play it with no trouble. ^^

When it comes to the design I think it was great. I liked this clean it was and I loves the latour and how easy it was to go through stuff.

~Pikachi~ : Lol your post is really funny! Yeah it indeed had a lot of games then, but now its even more than it was some years ago. Because of how vizzed has grown so so much in different aspects of areas.

zanderlex : Yeah that's another good thing to point out. When you go to a website you want to find things easily also for it to look clean as well. vizzed has held that reputation in the best way possible. ^-^
