So, I've been trying to get the cheats feature of the RGR plugin to function for a couple of games (in both cases, using the mednafen emulator). One being Chrono Trigger on the SNES, the other being Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for the GBA. In either case, I have attempted to enter the code required, and in either I have made absolutely sure to enter the code correctly, letter for letter.

I should note it's a bit more complicated in the GBA emulator, for whatever reason. It doesn't give the option to choose what kind of code you want to enter and auto-format it. Meanwhile, the SNES emulator is forgiving enough to give you the option to choose AR codes, which are what I've been using.

Neither works for me. I've been using very short codes and I tried them on a different emulator for chrono trigger, on which they worked.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong, but I know in the case of Chrono trigger, when i go to "list cheats" what I believe should be the code in the address part says "$00XXXXXX" With XXXXXX being the first few digits of my code, but not the last 2. Any help on this would be appreciated.

The cheat system is a bit complicated.
I wrote a guide specific to Fire Emblem but it should apply to Chrono Trigger as well.

If it helps, here is another guide.

The codes used are from www.gamehacking.org

Let me know if either of those help.
I could possibly make a guide with images some time in the future.
