Well, The Veterans and Staff continue to seriously dominate this team competition. But hey, at least the Trusted Community actually gained points today. Also, looks like the Moderators have a new leader, Zlinqx:.

Will the Moderators or the Trusted Community turn things around later in the competition? I really don't know but the Veterans and Staff have such a huge lead now. Also, I'm now going to do graphs for this team competition! Just imagine how crazy the graphs would look like if things turn around later this month?

Lexatom : I wouldn't say that just yet, your team might be helped if someone places in the white banner competition and decides to go for it.

I wonder if there will be any day this month that our line in the graph isn't soaring upward XD It's probably because we have so many users that are consistently placing, including the rainbow banner holder. I'm hoping to see a more interesting level of competition soon, I think it could happen if we give it enough time!

Well, once again, The Veterans and Staff continue to destroy this competition (unsurprisingly). At least the Moderators did a better job yesterday, gaining almost half the amount of points as Vets and Staff, but it's still no match for the Veterans and Staff.

Looks like the Moderators finally pass 100 points, but the Vets and Staff are well over 300 points. Meanwhile, only one user from the Trusted Community gained points. At this point, I would honestly be very surprised if the other teams ever catch up (But don't give up Trusted and Moderators, it's still early!).

Even if I would've been trying to get a lot of points for The Mods this TDV, I think it's quite clear that the Vets and Staff would still have a substantial lead over the other teams. I'll contribute to the mods cause tomorrow, but at this point, the contest's pretty much over at this point.

Now we have 2 teams that are in the triple digits for points! I'm also glad to see that The Trusted Community is back to getting points even if it's only for a short while.

Thanks lol. I'm really trying my absolute best to hold on to that rainbow as long as I possibly can. It's hard to keep this pace and not burn myself out. I'd be lying if I said this wasn't stressing me out to some extent, though I'm having a really fun time competing at the same time. It's fun to see how well you can do when the competition is really gunning for it, or at least makes winning difficult. At this point, I'm not only gunning for solo points, I'm also trying to make sure our team score is also as high as it can possibly be. It'd be cool to have the highest team competition score ever put up, especially if you get to be the point leader for that team

I've never seen a score board go so high like that before in any tdv...... I must say this is really impressive. I think this tdv may be the best and memorable one that people will definitely remember. This I would rank with the 2013 year. Only 3 more weeks left to go of this month I wonder what will happen then? We will just have to wait and see.

Oh my gosh, just look at that graph. We're about to be just 1/3 done with the month and we already have almost 3 times as many points as the next team, and I think we can break the 3x combo with yesterdays points. Let's see if we can crack 400 points at the end of today!

This competition is turning out to be as boring as we all expected it to. User rank teams just aren't going to work out.

The Trusted- and Mod+ teams had no chance to begin with.


I think it's better not to have a team competition for the next few TdV's so the next one that gets hosted will hopefully have a good and fair theme.

Well, no body was able to suggest any ideas for the team competition so what do you honestly expect? lol. It's just that most users who choose to compete are Site Staff and sometimes elite. 

The funny thing is... Everyone was expecting an unbalance from staff actions, but it turns out that wasn't the case at all. It's just that the other teams aren't trying. At least I tried to make this competition more fun, but it's not like I can easily come up with a new good idea if all other ideas were used.

Mohammedroxx3 : If nobody had any ideas then we should not have hosted a team competition in the first place.

Also, I'm not saying you're a bad host, I like the spirit and energy you put into this. It's just that the actual competition isn't entertaining.

Mynamescox44 : You're welcome! I can't imagine having to keep up with your pace for an entire month, I'm having enough trouble keeping up the pace I'm at, which is nothing compared to yours

I'm also hoping our team score can be a new record, it would make this team competition memorable even though it's a domination

Eniitan : I'm impressed with this TdV so far too, and impressed with the endurance of some of the competitors, including myself. I've never competed this many days in a row before, not even in 2013! But last night I got really tired and burnt out and gained no points. Oh well, I'll try harder today and if I get tired I'll wake myself up more somehow XD

Mohammedroxx3 : I think it was still a good idea to have a team competition this month after not having one for a while. Sure, we're running out of ideas, but you never truly know how an idea will work out until you try it. If it doesn't work out, we all learn from it and should attempt to come up with something better.

zanderlex : You're honestly right. I don't see any harm in reusing a great idea that hasn't been done again in such a long time.

Furret : Also, even if we don't have a team competition for the next few TDV's, I doubt that will even help. When we randomly decide to make another TDV team competition thread after a few TDV's, the same thing will probably just happen where no one can come up with ideas. Better to have a boring team competition than nothing honestly. (nothing at all is even more boring)

Pacman+Mariofan : Yea, that's what I also thought. Just imagine how great this idea would turn out if the other teams make an unexpected come back (I hope something like that happens to at least make it more entertaining).

Lol, just noticed I'm the team leader and my ONLY goal this TdV has been to get the green jersey I think it would've been better to have all ranks below staff be one team for this particular competition. It would've likely still be a clear win for staff but it might've at least been a little bit less one sided.

Mohammedroxx3 : Or we can start a discussion now to come up with ideas so once we have a couple good ones we can start hosting them again. I'd personally prefer no competition over something that can hardly be called a competition after day 3 or so.

I wouldn't be opposed to reuse old ideas but you can only really use a theme once with each userbase, so stuff from 2013 would work but ideas from last year wouldn't.

Mohammedroxx3 : Well I told one of my real life friends about vizzed recently so if he decides to come here and post, he might win the white banner He seemed a little interested. However, I've told multiple friends about vizzed and none of them have signed up, I'll have to keep trying (with other friends, so I don't keep bugging the same people). Even if they sign up not during a TdV I'll be happy

Zlinqxthecooluser™ : Yeah, it would have been a good idea to have the elites on the Trusted Community team but I don't think we should make any changes this late into the competition. There aren't many elites competing but their team would still have many more points than they currently do.

Pacman+Mariofan : Yeah I wasn't really suggesting changing it at this point, was just saying Really anyone who's followed the past few TdVs could probably see the staff win coming. Since it's usually staff that competes for the jerseys. A few of the mod+ do as well sometimes but staff has the number advantage.

We already saw how unbalanced team competitions are based in rankings. Hell, that occasion where staff+ where competing against Elite and below there were days where the staff+ whitewashed the other team. It just serves to demonstrate that user ranks aren't an option anymore.

I don't see why we rushed this, though. We did go without a team competition in April for lack of ideas waiting for the automated team competition, so we could have gone the same way this month.

If people can't wait for the automatic thing, then I say we re-use old ideas that make teams more random. The competition I held based on Zodiacs, for example, or those ideas about registration date. If we can return to have +10 teams, then things will surely be more open.

Furret : Good idea. Should I go ahead and make a thread in the Underground about this? At least more users can chime in which is better. I think non-staff should also have a say on this. Or just have the discussion here? (I don't think having this discussion here is a good idea though. This thread will be closed and treasured at the end of the month and I don't exactly want this to turn into a debate thread.)

Pacman+Mariofan : It'd be nice to see a white banner leader at least try to boost up the Trusted Community, but I don't know if that would even help enough. XD
