AiAi is one of the four playable main characters in the Super Monkey Ball series. He wears an orange shirt with a big white "A" on the front of it. He tends to be used as the game's mascot.

His personality can be described as carefree. When he isn't rolling around in a ball in the games, he is usually eating or thinking about eating bananas. Despite this, he is actually quite intelligent and is very adept at solving puzzles. He tends to have the green colored ball in the Super Monkey Ball games.

In Super Monkey Ball 2, AiAi teams up with his friends to stop the evil Dr. Bad Boon from stealing all the bananas in Jungle Island. In Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, he has to get back the eight golden bananas from the Space Alien Pirate King. He is also a playable character in other SEGA games such as Sega Superstars Tennis and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

AiAi's wife is MeeMee, and they have a child named Baby. GonGon is his good, close friend.
