As the regulars of this forum should know, and if not let me inform you of this, the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! movie will air on the 23rd in Japan, just 9 days from now.

Several trailers have already shown up, the latest even covered the new ending in ARC-V for two episodes in a row. The old characters are back in action, some of them heavily redesigned (Mokuba being the most noticeable), a new way of dueling will unfold, and Yugi will seemingly be playing a Macedoine Dark Magician Girl deck (no joke, it's real).

I'm sure fans will be very pleased to see the undisputed kings return to the field. Things have changed so much since they left the stage, but more seems to be coming, like the movie's duel disk projecting images directly from the duelist's brain (?).

Does anybody out there share the hype?

Your a little late lol I saw it before you. Anyways the trailer looks promising what I didn't like is how they added something from zexl you know the head things which I forgot their names. I was wondering why would they add something like that since it wasn't in the original series in the first place. The dub may be the interesting part. It depends if they bring back the  old voice actors. I can only hope since I well grew up with the dub. Any yu gi oh fan from back then would know if their voices would be there or not. If not a lot of people are going to complain saying you killed the dub with the wrong voice actors. XD

Eniitan : Well, my source for watching anime has been slacking off a bit lately with subbing episodes, and as such I couldn't make this thread before. I did see some trailers, but the latest one is the most promising.

The D-Gazers you mention were worn in the eyes. These new devices are worn on the head and they serve as projectors, because now the holograms are created straight from the duelist's brain. It's just another invention of Kaiba, and since he's the creator of duel disks, he's allowed to do everything with no complaints from the fans.

Speaking of the dub, we did get Spanish dub up to Battle City, as well as Jaden's first year of GX, not counting The Pyramid Of Light. This leads me to wonder if we would get a Spanish dub for this movie as well, as a homage for the old times, but I'm more than sure we won't get it. Such a shame, this was one of only two series I tolerated the dub, but I've grown to love the original voices and the trailer sounds delightful.

It seems that this weekend there's an special episode dedicated to this series instead of the newest ARC-V episode. I doubt I'll be able to see it, but I don't think I would even if I could, because it can potentially calm the hype or increase it beyond controllable levels

Anyways I haven't been watching arc v for a while now or I'll be talking to you about it. But I don't think I am too far from whatever is happening I plan on sometime next week catching up with the series since you know I love it and all and I have to do the same for the dub as well. I don't think I have heard the Spanish dub before I'll have to give that a try and see if I like it or not. I'm going to be honest I'm not going to watch the move in sub it would be too weird for me so I'll wait till the dub gets out. I don't like what people say about arc v people claim its bad. But to be honest it reminds me of the old series but with new twists in a way. Which sadly some people may not understand to try and think on. I still love the dub theme song and I also like the sub as well.

and coming from someone who is usually picky with things, its a good thing that yu gi oh arc caught my attention.

I know this is old, but who cares, the movie comes out here in America tomorrow and I'm hyped. Already bought a ticket to see it in theaters in the morning and I can't wait. I had no idea it was even coming out until I saw it mentioned at Comic Con back in October.

I live in one of the biggest cities in America and yet it's only playing in one theater tomorrow, which makes it lucky that I was able to get a ticket, and I know it's going to be so awesome.

zanderlex : Its fine time to bring it back to life. Since its so close to releasing into the cinemas.

I am really looking forward to watching this movie with my brother. It will be out on the 1st of Feb in the UK, and Ireland as well. They already have the original voice cast of the dub in the film! What else can I ask for? It already looks amazing from seeing the trailers. XD

Now you've picked my interest to search for a Spanish version. I ignore if it will be on cinemas, but if they keep the original voice acting (not only the actors, but also the laid back dialogue that made it so awesome) I'm surely going to search for it.

I'm still wondering why it isn't available anywhere I've searched or why the wikia still has missing info on it. It's been nine months since it premiered in Japan, it should be up there somewhere already. I think I'll have to search more in depth when I'm not busy.

Eniitan : I still haven't seen anything about the last Dragon Ball movie, and the one before that didn't keep the original voice acting, so hopes aren't high on getting it at the moment...

However, it's been quite a while since anything Yu-Gi-Oh! related aired around here, which means they could entrust the dub to a team dedicated to anime just like they did with Captain Harlock. That would be the only instance in which not keeping the original voice acting would be forgiven, and it could even result in a better product.

Man, now I want to contact that team and ask if they heard about this movie or if it's coming here. Mixing the best voice acting team with my favorite anime... Almost too good to be true lol

EX Palen : If I am going to be honest....I haven't watched it I don't really want to watch it for reasons....thats my opinion you can go and watch it however if that is what you wish. Hmm I see, I can only hope maybe just maybe it may happen for you as it is doing for the UK and the US.

Oh my gosh. I went into the theater with so much hype and it was much better than what I had expected. Seeing it in theater played a huge role in how awesome it was though, but I loved it. I loved the music, the battles, all the insane effects and a ton of the dialogue was amazing.

We even got limited edition foil obelisk the tormentor cards.
