So guys how do you like your potatoes done? Mashed? Diced or roasted in the oven? You can chose one or all three of the chooses are hard for you. For me would be mashed and roasted. I love how roasted potatoes are done and the way it tastes after it has been in the oven for quite some time. And as for the mashed potatoes I love having that with gravy I tend to put in a lot of gravy for that and sausages as well. Since it would be nice and creamy on its own it tastes even better with gravy with it. XD

I prefer roasted or baked potatoes to anything else really. It's just so good! Especially with some butter, some sour cream, and just a few sprinkles of cheese. The yumminess is intense with that one.

I love potatoes. However, I don't see why so many people like mashed potatoes. Since I was a kid, I always hated mashed potatoes and found them to be gross. I didn't like the horrible texture and bland taste(even with gravy) of it. I do like diced potatoes, especially the diced potatoes my mom makes. In my opinion, diced potatoes are the best way to have your potatoes done. 

Welp depends on the potato for me mostly I love sweet potatoes when they are diced in strips then seasoned with garlic, and other spices then cooked in the oven for a while and we make this really good dip and eat them with it, for regular potatoes I usually enjoy frying them, mashing, and just plain basked I mean you can still put sour cream and cheese on either one except for the fried, and they all still taste really good. 

Eniitan : You have nice topics this morning! I lubbb potatoes. I like them mash when I am eating it as a "salad": mashed, Mayo, boiled eggs all mixed and white rice on the side, I like them diced and grilled with onions when eating it for breakfast along with bacon, vanilla cinnamon pancakes, and scrambled eggs. I like them roasted in the oven when I am eating it as a whole with the skin and slicing it in the middle then adding sour cream and shredded three Cheese alone like that or with a medium rare steak. And I like them fried when eating it with fried chicken or I cut them julienne style and cook them with meat loaf and white rice on the side. Or I just eat some Lays lol. Either way I keep some potatoes around as they come in very handy! I have not yet tried it with gravy although I have three bottles of gravy at home- I am not sure about gravy I haven't given it a try yet, I might try it next time I make mashed potatoes.

RDay13 : Well lemme give you some advice rday. You say it taste like bland. Have you every tried to maybe put some salt and pepper in it for taste? Or gravy to give it that taste? Or to mix it in with either butter or milk when you are pounding it down to become a mash potato for taste?

deg2000 : Yeah sweet potatoes are nice. Those ones I don't normally eat it would be the regular ones. And seasoned with garlic?! I like how you do your deg. And oh yes I would have to agree yet again to do with sour cream and cheese. XD

Eniitan : I have never tried mixing it with butter or milk, but I have tried putting salt and pepper in. I thought it made it taste worse, but next time my family gets mashed potatoes, I will try mixing it with butter or milk. 

RDay13 : You gave up that's why..... try again ok? Keep trying and when you add somethings get a teaspoon to taste it. And maybe the salt and pepper wasn't done correctly keep on trying till you get it right ok?

I'm actually not a huge fan of potatoes. The only kind I can sort of deal with eating is mashed, with gravy and ketchup. If the gravy and ketchup isn't in the mix, then I'd rather not eat it lol.

I like potatoes made almost any way, but especially when they're either diced or mashed. I enjoy either of those two a lot...with way too much salt, of course.

SWTerra : Ok cool. I have had diced potatoes before its very nice but somehow it hurt when I tried to eat it. So its not really for me that's why I either enjoy mashed or roasted potatoes.

I love me some potatoes. All kinds of potatoes. Gimme potatoes any day. Does it really matter? To your stomach, every potato is mashed.

As a wise Hobbit once said: Boil 'em, Mash 'em, Stick 'em in a stew. Potatoes. Potatoes. Overall I prefer to mash 'em because I like to mix my food and it is fun to get a spoonful (or forkful) of chicken, peas, macaroni, and mashed potatoes all in one bite. Also, without mashed taters there wouldn't be perogies which are absolutely delish.

I pretty much like potatoes done any way. I really like scalloped potatoes a lot and potatoes done on the BBQ. 

This summer I grew a few different varieties in my garden, including some little purple potatoes. My favourite way to prepare them was just to boil them, then eat them with just a touch of salt and pepper and little bit of sour cream. Nothing beat's baby potatoes fresh from the garden.

Eniitan :   I like potatoes in any form really.  I like a nice baked potato, or baked Au gratin potatoes.  I eat my mashed potatoes with butter and cheese...green olives if I have them.  Diced makes a good hash brown or french fry.  You can even put them into a cannon and shoot them if you have one of each

I like mashed potatoes more than the other kinds you list here, probably even more than any other kind of existence. I was so desperate for mashed potatoes one time, that at my 13th birthday party (which was one of the best, might I add) I ate cold mashed potatoes, and they were actually really good. What is wrong with me lol.
