Okay what we have here is Vs. Duck Hunt. Yes you did read that right. It is more or less the arcade version of the Nintendo's Duck Hunt. But just like what Vs. Super Mario Brothers was to the Nes version this version is more or less the same but with increased difficulty. How much harder is this version compared to the Nintendo version? A lot. On the NES version I can get through at least half the game in one play through. This version will test your limits in a matter of one or two playthroughs. Now unlike Vs. Super Mario I could find little to no information online as to the release of V.s Duck Hunt at all. So I'm going to guess that it came to arcades the same time as Vs. Super Mario did. Which does make sense seeing as it was a second game added to most console versions of Super Mario So now on to the review and my thoughts of the game. Also in my review I will be doing a lot of comparisons of the 2 games. Much like I did for my review of Vs. Super Mario Brothers.

Difficulty 10: The difficulty for the game is at a 10. I have rated it that high cause to me it is a much harder version of its NES counterpart. How so? Well for one the ducks come flying at you at a much faster rate making you have to react a bit faster.  Whereas in the NES version the ducks came at a bit of a slower rate giving you some time to react before that damn dog popped up and laughed at you. I am so glad now that in the new Smash Brothers game we finally can beat the crap out of the dog (so satisfying).

Depth 3: I felt that 3 is a good number for the games depth. Just like with the NES version all you are doing there, like with the arcade version, is just shooting ducks and having a dog laugh at you if you miss any of them.

Story 1: Story is a well deserved 1. There is no story at all. All you are doing is shooting ducks. If the game has a story at all I was not able to tell what it is or was about. Again game has no story at all.

Addictiveness 3: are both versions of the game addicting? No, not all if just for an hour here or there. Nothing you'd want to sit and play for any long then that.

Sound 10: The sound is great and sounds just like the NES version. No actual background music at all or anything except when you miss a duck or finish a round. Nothing you'd want to remember outside of the game.

Graphics 10: Graphics are pulled right from the Nintendo version. They look as good there as they do for the arcade port. I give a solid and well deserved 10.

Overall 10: Overall I give a 10 even though it is a harder version then wheat's on the Nintendo I still had fun playing it. But I wont be wanting to play again right away. Good to kill some time in and that is about it.

Final Thoughts: It more or less is the same version of the NES version just with increased difficulty. Is it worth playing? That's for you people to decide. For me it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it for a bit.  I recommend it. But from an overall standpoint I recommend the NES version over it. But it was fun to see an arcade version of a game I had fun playing as a kid.

Good title

As for the review, I guess it is as good as it can get for this game, considering how short it is. You do point out at the differences with the original game (namely the difficulty level) and you kept in mind that the game was from 1985 so the graphics were average for the time.

Nice title ... Good review as well. You kept it short and simple but that's as much as you are going to get for this game lol ... I would love to see you make future reviews if you do make any

As the others have already said, the title is great. You did a good job of making a detailed review without dragging it out more than it needed to be. Keep up the good work man.
