What bread do you normally eat? Is it white or brown bread? I remember back in the day that I loved eating white bread until my mum changed it to brown bread. A more of a healthier option. Back then I hated brown bread, but I had no choice to eat it. Since then I love it more than the white bread. Also do you like to eat the crusts or hate it?

I like both white and brown bread. I used to not like brown as much but I do like it now. I like white bread more but brown bread is always great. I like to eat the crusts of course

Between the two, I can definitely say that I've definitely eaten white bread more. I'm always cautious though because everything nowadays, especially bread, is always genetically modified or enhanced with extra chemicals. Many store breads are enhanced or bleached with azidocarbonamide which is the same material used in yoga mats. Yeah you heard right, yoga mats. 

Once I have control over the type of food I buy, I'm definitely going to make sure I get the healthier brands of bread that aren't conditioned and bleached. Bread is just one example though, there are still a ton of other foods like pizza that contain GMOs. To answer your question though, I've only ever eaten white bread, so I can't say whether or not I like it better than brown bread since I've never had it. 

Razor-987 : Yeah what you are saying is true. At times being made that is put in with bread making, and I wonder why they do that... @.@

I can go for either really, depends on what I'm more in the mood for, but generally I actually tend to prefer brown bread unlike most other people I know even though I mostly eat toast and white bread since don't really have much control of what to buy. The only type of bread I explicitly dislike brown or white, is the kind that has lots of seed in it, don't really like the consistency at all, I don't care how healthy it is >.>

I usually eat more brown bread than white bread, though I like both. When I was younger I wanted to eat more white bread but since my mom told us brown bread was healthier we started eating that more and more, and now I like brown bread more than white bread.
I don't mind crusts at all, they give a bit of extra bite to the bread and often have yummy seeds.

I prefer brown bread. But I eat white bread the most, since I only really know how to make French Bread. I don't really know any recipies for brown breads. I like eating crusts, and brown breads usually have seeds, or oats on them. And you can't go wrong with snacking on those, and crusts of some delicious bread!

A user of this : You know what? Usually when I don't like brown bread I would get my mum to buy bread that has seeds on it. Those breads are the best especially when you toast them. Oh boy...you do that putt butter on it its like you are having the best bread toast in the whole wide world! Its so crunchy what can be crunchier than that?!  XD

Seeded breads are my favourite breads now because of that.

I usually Eat Both,usually white,and when special things occur,Brown at Dinner.
I can't decide between Both,so,I do Eat Both.

I enjoy eating both white and brown bread. But I often buy brown bread because I like it better for when I put lettuce and tomatoes in my sandwiches, and of course of it being the healthier choice. But Italian bread takes the cake, I love using that bread for when I'm making large sandwiches.

What matters to me the most really is what the bread is made of. Like many people here, I'm fully aware the breads found in stores are littered with components, designed to increase profit, that should never have been put there in the first place.
Once I learned about that I have steered clear from buying bread in the stores ever since and go for bread from bakeries instead.
I'm really fortunate to have one near my house and I go there every week. Not only is the bread there cheaper but it actually feels like true bread, know what I'm saying?

I could eat either one of them. Like you said Enii, brown bread ( assuming you mean whole wheat or something similar ) is definitely the healthier way to go since white bread has more sugar in it. Both of them taste good and it doesn't matter if I'm eating ham and cheese, PB and J, grilled cheese, BLT, etc. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, the only time I would prefer white bread is when I'm eating PB and J. It tastes better imo for some reason.

As for the crusts, I have never actually eaten a sandwich without them before. I guess I oughta give it a try sometime XD

Its always nice to eat healthy bread, and layer it with lettuce and tomato right? So then its kinda like having the best in both worlds as whole. But in a sandwich. ^^

You eat Italian bread lol? And you use it to make larger sandwiches? chrissy you....I swear your going to kill me! I am laughing so hard. XD

Well, I guess between those two it would be brown bread. Though i'm not really sure what brands are white and brown.

i buy what's cheapest i really don't have a preference when it comes to bread

Wheat bread. It is better for you and has more fiber,plus once you get used to it,you won't miss white bread.

mrkoolnerd : Why hello there. I agree with what you said. As Laura agrees with you. My mum doesn't go out of her way to buy an expensive bread. Just normally the cheap ones because they taste better which Laura also stated. What's the point of buying an expensive bread that may go to waste? Like some would say. Cheaper is better. Plus it saves money. ^-^

Oldschool777 : Yep that is true. That's what my mum beated that into me in my past. Now today I love brown bread. I think little kids hate brown bread. It is not as bad as it may sound they just need to try it. I even hear that they fuss over the crust part. The part that is meant to be the HEALTHIEST of them all. Back in my days, I weep about it and I get smacked. So I had to appreciate what I had there food wise. >.<

Eniitan : Well none of them say brown or white bread, or even look like that here. We have honey bread, Italian cheese bread, I think the closest would probably be rye bread.

I know,wheat bread is an acquired taste and my mother introduced it to me as well and trust me when I say that you do not even notice any real difference,it even tastes better. Kids have always fussed over the crust,but I love it and I like the heel part of a loaf of bread. I still will pick wheat bread if given the choice,it is an easy way to improve your health.
