I just loved the new Jurassic World movie, I loved it enough to see it twice in 3D within 36 hours of it being released. I haven't actually seen any of the original movies aside for a few scenes, so I had no experience with this series. Normally, if its a series I never seen before, I watch the newest movie a few weeks after, when it gets big reviews and makes lots of money, like what had happened with Furious 7, I only saw the 3rs furious movie but this one was so big after 2 weeks that I told myself to watch it. This movie wasn't the same, I watches the new trailer about 2 weeks before it came out and I knew I had to watch it because it looked so cool.
The graphics were pretty good, its not like you had anything major like you would see in a disaster movie or a huge action film, but you had all of the dinosaurs to create and for the most part, they looked cool and very big and scary. For me, it wasn't really the effects that made me love the movie, it was the acting, specifically Chris pratts acting. Come on, you have to admit that him controlling the raptors was great and that the scenes with him on the motorcycle looked just amazing. The story might have been pretty bland, but a lot of the scenes, and the plain coolness of his character were just amazing, not to mention that were quite a few laughs.
Yes, the movie made me laugh a lot. You had the plain stupid jokes, but then you had some really good ones that I lived like when Owen asked about the scratch marks. Whatever bad aspects there were with the movie, they made up for it with some great acting and plain just cool scenes that always managed to thrill you.
The music was another good aspect, I don't know what the old music was like really but I feel they had done a good job with the music in this one, most of the time the music fit in nicely with the drama of the film and made the mob feel a lot more like something epic.
I heard a lot of people say bad things about this movie but I don't see it, since I didn't see the others, I can't really say anything about it compared to the others so it might not be as good as them, but as its own film, its one of the best films of 2015.
