Hey all!

So, it's been a while since I've said anything about DN. I assure you, though, the future is bright. Read on, it's about to get exciting!

First off, I'd like to announce that we're merging DN into one single game. No more 'DN1', 'DN2', 'DN3', etc. Devil's Nightmare will be a complete game, released all at once.

Why? It's simple. I'm basically writing a book within the game, lol. A book isn't released in many very small parts, it's released all at once. Everyone can chew through it at their own pace, but it's all available.

Of course, that means DN will be shorter than originally intended. Snow and I have nearly finished updating all of the levels released before DN closed for renovations, and there will be quite a few new ones as well. We were originally planning over 100 levels, so when I say 'shorter', it's a relative term.

Secondly, storyless mode is 100% confirmed. Speedruns will be encouraged, and easy to do (from a technical perspective). This will release when Devil's Nightmare re-releases.

Thirdly, the re-release date is now up in the air. There's no way for us to tell how fast we can code the hundreds of command blocks needed to build DN, nor how fast we can build quality levels. We're rushing to get it to you as quickly as possible, and still aiming for as close to August 15th as possible.

Finally, here's an update log of some things that aren't worth a blurb, but are worth mentioning.

Please, lend me helpful thoughts! A big part of DN has always involved wanting to make it enjoyable (well, addicting, at least). Your input is invaluable!

I don't know why I was summoned.

My suggestion is an "I quit, I don't want to do this anymore" option.

Because the only reason I finished the first DN was because no one would let me leave. I was forced to play to the end, long after I stopped being interested.

I can't wait to try it out. I only tried out DN once before and never tried again and then I went to try it again like a week ago after like 4 months to find it was closed.

thing1 : There isn't all that much a non-op can do, honestly. The more you're on the server while I'm on and working, the more likely I'll be to stay motivated (unless you're distracting). Plus, I've been known to give a sneak peek or two to anyone on the server.
