David Grohl was the drummer in Nirvana.

That meant he was in one of the greatest modern bands of all time, Curt Cobain was an amazing figure and he died.

Now I hear the name David Grohl everywhere, he is considered by many to be one of the worlds greatest drummers and musicians.

But what did he do to get this title post Nirvana and what makes him so special?

I liked the first Foo Fighters album and some songs from the second one and that was it as far as I consider him anything "special", I suppose. These days as far as 90`s goes even Shampoo is more special to me.

In the most recent proof of his dedication to music and his fans, last night Grohl Broke his leg during a concert, apologized to fans for breaking it, went to get his leg quickly patched up, then came back out to finish the show.

The ultimate good guy. I mean who does that sort of thing? Grohl is awesome. Needs to be more dudes like him in this world.

I liked him a lot but I can't say I actually knew him name. I did listen to a lot of Nirvana and The Foo Fighters. It's not that he wasn't special to me I am just really not good with names. It's sad to hear he died. I didn't know about this until now.
