just depends on what you protect them from.

You don't want to be doing everything for them... but there is a lot in life that kids don't need to be exposed to at a young age.

I let my daughter run around and explore and stuff. I don't constantly monitor what she is doing. There is rarely anything left around that she could hurt herself with... but let's be honest... a bad tumble off the couch could kill her. But I can't sit beside her the entire time she does anything just to make sure she doesn't get hurt. It's a tough line to stay on... but you have to let them learn through failure.

You're at the safe point though. After 32 weeks nearly every preemy will survive if born at this point... and if there aren't any other health issues most grow up as normally as most other kids. That is always a relief.
