K-Kirby Kirby Kirby he's the pink one we all know, Kir-Kirb-Kirby not just the single smash bro! He loves to EAT so watch out for those feet! KIRBY!!!! .....Is on a new adventure, into the same wonderful world we know of dreamland wherein many of journey's have come and passed during his time. The same wonderful land that only gives off the most treasured of treats known as the all-mighty magic metamato which as one would assume is our little pink one's favorite snack < 3. *Vizzed curtain opens as the lounge, chat room, board, and vizzed town are seen behind*  One day...all was normal in this land and things seem to flow as normal, until one moment he had decided to see a huge metamato in the forest out of nowhere? Upon jumping all around with his puffy marshmallow like joy he quickly sucked in the surroundings with all his might to eat  the wonderful vegetable, unbeknown to our hero at the time that someone else was pulling the "strings" around the entire scene. Taking a close look at the inspection twas fairly obvious that it was no ordinary tomato and looked a bit like....fabric?
Just at that moment of having eaten the fruit he was transported inside a strange world by a wizard that he only caught a few glimpse of sight at, before falling inside! *falls onto carpet flooring* ....huh? That fall was quite comfy *turns too quickly and hears a tear*..h-HUH?! D-D-Did I just rip my side open? *see's quills fall off into "threads"*. N-N-Nooo I can't spin dash my way to a chili dog anymore < /3 That magician....he ruined my quills and Dreamland, he'll pay for this! Join me fabric friends! Let's turn Patch Land back into the childhood wonder of Dreamland! *turns into drift car and speeds forward onto the next "seam"*

xx/-- Stitching creative level ideas, with cute looks and ideas _-/Xx

I'm sure as you've probably already guessed from the title, the hatred that you may have seen in release trailers to this game, and many hints I portrayed at the beginning of the story. The graphics have been experimented once more in this pinky characters land going all the way from 2-D to 3-D with his jump onto the N64 and many other titles; however, what would it be like if we wanted to give him a more....humane feeling/look? You know that feeling of being around a families residence or in your bedroom as a child, cuddled up between a blanket and pillow? That's exactly what they did with this game, turning our little pink marshmallow into a cute piece of fabric that warms the heart of crafters and families alike. As such you may believe that the games graphics are probably going to be poorly done since it only relies on fabric-esque material, to which I will say you're correct in some ways about that but HEAVILY wrong in others ways about it.
The main playable characters themselves are pretty basic in design since we'll they're not made like how they were originally thought out and instead replaced by yarn; although, they're more unique because of it. Kirby's little blush being represents by a slightly brighter pink material which appears like cotton, and his yarn like weapon with a cute ornamental star left behind to add an extra punch across his enemies. Surely just this little of information can't change your perspective on things already right? I figured as much so how about we dive down the "quilts" and "pins" together some more examples of how I believe the graphics in this game are very spot on and creative in their own rights!

->{_-/ Enemies and Foreground graphics -_}<-

Don't be alarmed here as I'll still mention the actual level designs themselves; but, before we get to that I feel it's best if we describe what I feel is the best use of the graphical concept they decided to go with this time. That is the foreground graphics being interactable with the 2-D side scrolling world and how that can also effect enemies in general, for instance in the first level of the game there is a lake wherein to cross it since the jump is too far to make you'd have to pull the button that's oh so neatly hanging out right beside the wall. Once you pull it, the wall crunches together with binds within the wallpaper/background being viewable, this can crush enemies that were hidden below; however, it can also delete items/secrets that you could collect as well so watch out! The enemies are as you would guess area just the same as our original plushy pink hero, now turned into yarn and some may need to be defeated in specific ways before they can fall to "pieces of piping", such as the normal Waddle Dee's being ok to attack and throw....but in turn the Waddle Dee's that have a spear must have their weapon taken away beforehand otherwise you'll suffer damage which could lead to some very bad "stitches".
Now I'd like to mention one thing I love about the enemies that deal with the backgrounds as well before we end this portion off, cause we don't want to "pleat" ourselves too short and then lose the "under-lining" tone of this segment. During a later part of the first real level we can see two Waddle-Dee's literally side-by-side together sleeping...or should I say yarn-by-yarn? Either way if that's not cute enough for you then right about their heads you can see red beads floating above them in the shape of a heart < 3 it's so cute and creative < 3 and I guess you could say: "their love will bead on!". Sorry Sorry I'll stop my never thrending banter and onto the levels.

                 -_{~}_ Flower Fields _-[~]_-~

Ahhh flowers < 3 something that really brightens up the mood of an environment or just people in general. Whether you look at the plant as a simple gift of life, Look at it as a way of showing love and care to a friend or family member by picking a few, or even simply as a definition of beauty in life and hardships in life as well. Right from the get go you'll see a river"bead" full of pansies, tulips, dandelions galore! *walks across lily pads* This is a definitely a place for fans whom are just gushing for and adoring the sweet nature of this area's plant life and I'm sure our hero would be up for sitting and smelling a pansy every once in a while. Now as we said above you can interact with background elements in the levels for instance if you're too low and can't make a jump, there could be a dandelion puff around and you'll do this *whips toward button plug and holds onto spore* haa...yeah as if I didn't love dandelion puff's in real life this just makes me love them even more! Anyway before I get too puffy and lose our "pattern" I'll move onto the next level which'll be....
                         ___                         ___
        < 3 /O |==| Sweet's Park |==|/O < 3

*falls on cake* nnngh...what could th-th....my gosh....F-F-Food everywhere < 3! As you walk around this bakery of a level you'll notice the donuts, cakes, and other sweets just waiting to help you venture forward or move around. Surprising that Kirby's weight hasn't grown at all just from looking at the whole candy/sweet land that he ventures through, as he walks along the frosting floor of this land. If all these wonderful treats weren't enough to make you almost drool on your system/controller then be prepared as mostly throughout the level you can find a collection of gems which are made in the shape of a vine that's full of grapes (both purple and red). As if the scenery in front of you that you'll venture around and collect wasn't enough, the backgrounds just....just *starts quillivating from background items* mmmm....O-Oh sorry just looking at all of the COOKIES, icing, chocolate graham crackers that are shoveled into the background as I just from chocolate glazed donut to vanilla icing cake...I don't think I've ever wanted to eat my platforms as much as I have in this world it's torture! But I think that's enough details for here....as I can't take it here anymore otherwise some of these |treats| words might disappear into my mouth instead of into your minds. *Hops off edge of donut*

*Continues falling and bounces off flan** @-@ ...ugh... well that brings us to the end of this segment, as you can see...nnn... the graphics though far different from the usual means can be quite entertaining...oogh.... and fun at the same time which creates great art direction as well. From the way you interact with the backgrounds to just the beautifully crafted areas themselves I'll amazingly have to give the graphics a 10 out of 10.

^^vv>>--__ Threading up creative classical tunes, that'd knocked a red plumbers shroom's off __ --<
Ok so we know this game can already create a nice environment for children whom may want to play/enjoy this game at their parents house or just in the fun of their childhood bedroom.  But surely a such an infancy like game can't produce that well of music...correct? *Quills start reminiscing about PLOK* ....*nostalgia chills* ooh.... Guess that's not entirely true and especially when you're falling of the "face" of the fabric into a wonderful world or sweets and even *ahem* SPAAACCCCEE. In all seriousness though, I personally believe this to have some of the best music you'll hear on the system. As per the usual I will also be giving a few good examples of what I mean below and you can tell me whether or not I'm just having my head in the "yarn". So let's get to it! *Parachutes down into evidence land*

                xOo0~- Outer Rings ~0oOx

This little song will not be playing until much later inside your journey through this "quilt" felt land; however, we may still be able to talk about it without it tearing through the "seams" of your possible adventure. First time I heard this song I couldn't picture how upbeat and cheery it would actually be since it's just a normal space level ....right? Not exactly, as if the happy jolly music wasn't enough to get your heels kicking *threads the words footloose on floor* then this level is basically almost 100% like the original space shooters you've seen from the past such as: "Star Soldier Vanishing Earth, Galaga, or R-Type". So in case the graphics weren't already throwing you down a river of childhood then that basic level design will. With just how snap finger worth that music is to the SPACCCE shooting scenes, it's hard to really wanna pay attention and instead just jam your "thimble" out. Always a perfect song if you're getting read for a special event and are filled with wonder on how it'll turn out!

              ``___--- (/)() Future City ()(/) ---___``

I know it's another song from Space Land and it's probably going to "patch"  you into thinking it's all going to be space music right? Well...the main reason I chose this song is because of how the opening sounds and if you were to lis.... *Music plays*  Da Da-da Dumm (Fox) ~ Check your copywriting system, (Peppy) Everybody Hit Alert! (Slippy) Slippy here, I don't think this is ok, (Falco) You've gotta be kidding me, you're trying to steal OUR glory?! ....O-Ok after that interlude, I guess I don't have to say what it resembles after that event that just occurred...but yes it does sound a lot like that during the first few seconds of the song. However, this song definitely isn't just a knock-off of that theme since after like 15 seconds it begins to sound like something more so akin to Full Metal Alchemist with a serious song (almost sounds like a war's beginning is taking off) and the fact that it does pick up into a more serene moment almost like when you know a person will make it through a fight or they're fighting together with a partner and make it out in a blazing glory. Definitely a good choice if you're a fan of a space/space war type setting and aren't a fan of the wish upon a ring song above this one.

                ___                                         ___
         ~~*|     |*~~  Butter Building ~~*|     |*~~

HAHA! Yeah, now here's what I like to see! An old name and a familiar tune that some of us older fans will recognize immediately from the beginnings of our pink cotton ball. As it's the theme of the third area found within: "Kirby's Adventure" on the NES and remade in "Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland". The more so techno like song that always got us popped up with excitement like our hero when he spots a meta-mato, since it gives you that feeling of wanting to know what's around every corner no matter if it's bad or not. This time it's redone with a piano and made to sound even more so relaxing and enticing for the gameplay, my favorite part is when the point starts to drop in pitch as it sounds so we..... *See's logic chess piece thrown our way* You there! Your theme your were about to describe sounds eerily alike to my own theme "A heart that believes". You're going to have a hard time in court trying to..... NNNGH *Cracks whip and curls prosecutor into ball* ALL OF YOU GET OUT OF MY GAME! *Tosses to Waddle Dee and explodes into "lining* pieces* ..... *eats piece of cobbler from foreground object* ....phew...sorry about that; however, it is true that a few seconds just like before you can notice it sounds just like the sound that annoying red-suited man was saying. In general this song just gets you filled with mystery, adventure, and happiness all in one. If you enjoyed the original; but, would like a more peaceful alternative then you might enjoy looking this one up.

*trips and falls onto cookie flooring* mmnng....*pops head out* well that was creamy and delightful to my fabricy base; however, I didn't really mean to eat more and was simply thinking about how well the music and gameplay fit with one another. The soundtracks are basic as you would expect from the art style, though there are some cute moments where you'll hear an enemy moan or make a sound while you're adventuring through the level. So as surprising as syrup that this may be for some of you viewers I'm honestly giving this game a 10 out of 10 for it's "sound" standard as there were many more songs I could mention; but then you'd be drowning in flan and "ruching" your way through to get out . Now it's time to move onto the best and next part!

__/    Having creativity mashed with a new art style, creates a world "basted" in fun!   ___

*Swings from one branch to the other* YA! ....hehe as you would guess from how ecstatic I've been from the past two sections above, I'm really favorable on the side of saying that this game has a HIGH level of addictiveness value especially if you're new to this whole approach or this game, period! I've already talked about how I find the graphics and music/sound effects to be addictive so I won't "thread" this part out by stating the same facts over again. One thing I will say that does relate to graphics in a sense; however, it doesn't exactly really belong in that segment or it could make better sense in another section is one simple fact. What makes the levels so addictive at least to me is the idea of how you can actually interact with the environment, change it in so many different ways and yet even after doing so the graphics of the "newly" formed background still look superb and creative.  I'll dive into greater detail about that in a later "stitching" so let's dash on into some reasons that I find this game to have a highly addictive factor besides what's already been said above.

               ~/_~__ Copy Abilities..? __-_~

As you'll see from the very first intro as you begin you're adventure you'll learn that having been put into this strange world and made into a sock, (yarn) you're no longer able to steal enemies abilities like you would previously since you can no longer suck enemies inside you. So does that mean....all our copy ability's are gone ;-; ....my UFO is no more? Not necessarily; although, there are absolutely no ways to gain an ability by normal means like in the original game. Don't just give up hope though and throw your "beads" to the wind, as there are still forms that Kirby gets to change into almost like if he had his copy ability from before back. To best describe how this works is that there is a tiny whirlpool object that will be shown within a stage and upon jumping into it you'll gain the random ability of a certain form that the game picks out for that level. I said above that one of these areas was like a space shooter which would lead you to wonder how Kirby would possibly traverse that? Meet Rocket Kirby, where you transform into what the name implies as a ship. From then on forward you fly Kirby around and proceed to shoot all of the enemies across  the surrounding plain like a simple galaga match.
Now sure one basic transformation just isn't enough to wet your stomach, so how's about we actually get wet with a water level! DUN BUN FUUUNN :3 yes the dreaded water levels that most gamers fear of whenever they imagine what could hurt a game, so how does our puffball work with this scenario? Actually pretty well since Kirby already can swim well enough on his own; but, later on in the stage...just to make things smoother they give you the form known as Dolphin Kirby! (No it's not a prototype Gamecube form, so don't get your hopes up!) Which you think would be very hard to control since you're having to move in circles with a D-Pad, which as we know isn't an easy feat since that's usually where an analog stick would come into play. However, for some unknown reason it actually works smoothly with the D-Pad as controlling this form requires some of the most minimal effort required (though not too slidey where you'll lose control) therefore avoiding any aggression given to the player from bad controls. So when looking at the abilities you can gain during this games run it certainly seems like they maintained the same fun from before even if you can't gain exactly what you'd wish now by normal means...with that final note I think it's best to end things here for this segment.

There are more factors that make this game fun; although, if I gave all those details in this specific "layer" then there would be no point or info left for the following  "pockets" of details that you'll be reading later on. Which therefore leaves my score for addictiveness as an 9 out of 10 for this level, let's ride on! *Swims through yarn water*

``-<~>-~----Stitching and folding together a story, that'll make your "notions" fall to your "quilts"----~-<~>-``

One day in the peaceful offices of the Nintendo headquarters our heroes of stories and adventure were hard at work creating fresh new ideas for the gaming world outside, at that time our favorite pink plushy was being en"grained" inside a whole new game style. Everyone has the tradition where you're given a lovely scarf or knitted shirt/cover to where during thanksgiving or a festive holiday near the end of one year; but, of course you may be wondering what this all has to do with Nintendo and our character correct? Well tis be the 24 artistic days of crafts and needles with this game as we delve into the story that this wonderful creator who's name that ends with the Sakurai, you'll understand just exactly what this festive intro deals all about so let's journey through to the actual story.

Twas' any normal day in the world of dreamland...peaceful and quiet with no worries in a dedede anywhere, could you ever think of a better relaxation spot? I certainly can't! Upon Kirby's boring and unplanned walk our pink frosting colored hero saw a big red metamato, and before he could even stop his red blush spots from slobbering in hunger...he had already begun trying to suck up the metamato as fast as he could. However, due to that glutinous appetite of a stomach our puffball has he unveiled the delectable vegetable to be was in actuality a piece of fabric attached to the mysterious and gossip spoken magician known as Yin-Yarn! Before the magician nor our stomach for 2 hero could get shock or disgruntled from what had occurred, the "cloth"amaniac had chosen to use his special sock to trap the pink ball of joy in between its "casing" into a completely different world; although, upon falling he didn't suffer any bruising due to the soft and "hem" like flooring. Also, upon discovering the "fabricy" nature of this land, he had realized at the very same moment he had in fact become the "yarn" itself that he fell upon!
Now normally this would be a cause for celebration since our protagonist has finally lost some weight from his long growing life and career; (you really think Smash Bros would slim him up by now?) yet, this is no time joking about  one's weight since our whole world...er our whole new world is in danger of being turned completely into "sewing" supplies and cuteness ;-; . Upon rushing at the edges of our "strands" we notice a strange...um...resident of this land running around in terror as an enemy followed quickly behind him, after having saved the resident we learn that he is actually the prince (No not a 90's sitcom reference) of this strange world known as Patch Land and that Yin Yarn is actually terrorizing and trying to destroy this land by tearing apart the "stitching" between worlds until it could be his to control into a "yarn" filled paradise....which I'm not sure whether that would be epic or horrific Hearing the discord and stress in Prince Fluff's voice, Kirby, pink blush and all decided he would help the prince (still not a reference) restore his land back to it's original state of calmness and beauty < 3!

Probably not the best story you could ever imagine from the Wii nor from a Nintendo idea period; but, really when you look at everything else in the game you're not going to expect a game of thrones esque adventure....though I would wonder how that would even work out with yarn graphics *scratches foreflap*. Either way comparing the graphics to the system it's on it would deserve a 6 out of 10; however, I feel with other things we've talked about before and with things I'll be talking about soon in the following "segments" the story actually does benefit the game really well so I'd say judging on the game and not the console it'd deserve a 8 out of 10 for story.

V~~V_/-_ Cute concept, Addictive gameplay, and more secrets await behind the "patch" of this story _=~=_/V~V

I'll admit when I first saw this game and heard of it in reviews I was turned off and figured due to how bad it was (apparently) it would be a tiny and not that enjoyable of a game; yet, it seems like the opposite based off of what you've read in the past levels of this review. Believe it or not this game actually is long in terms of the Kirby series  standards, as usually there are 39 levels in the games (4, 5 or 6 levels with a boss in 7 chapters) so how does this game "pin" up against the others when comparing the amount of levels? Actually, it has a very good "base" to stand on since it has again 7 chapters (well 8 if you include the intro world with one level) and each other them have 7  levels you could play so if you add everything up that would be 49 levels or 50 if you count the prologue level. Pretty hefty if you ask me when you look at the overly childish tone that people discredit this game for wouldn't you say? Being the fact that this is our segment where we can feel free it's finally time to jump free of our "pins and needles" type seats and explore exactly what I've been trying to save for this moment in time. Since we've now passed the simple depth section of how long the game is it's time to move onto how much this game will be able to offer potential buyers or some interesting details that would be great to discuss here.
               _                                                            _
~~|_|-___ Stickers and Level Patches __-|_|~~

During your traversing quest throughout levels you might find square object plastered on walls, almost as if someone just forgot to strip off a piece of wallpaper. These objects are actually stickers/patches which will net you items that you can use for house decorating, (yes it's Animal Crossing all over.....a little bit) you can find some extra beads or star beads, (which give you MANY beads) or a star patch which you'll use at the end of the level to spin a wheel and see if you may earn some extra equipment for your "sewing" machine I guess? Now sure that may not be as great as you may think at first but sometimes you do have to look out for enemies or background objects as they can reveal and exclamation point while if you do collect it, then it shall lead you to a background object which it will then attach itself to and bring out of the foreground and up to Kirby to usually collect either a furniture item or music for that stage or other areas inside the game which you'll have visited. Now sure that may not be as much as a surprise nor a great gift for those of you that just want to explore the games levels, which I'm on your side of the argument there as I don't find it that enjoyable of a collectible for your efforts (though I would still go after them as a completionist). However, the following patch is the one that made me fall in love with this game visually and gameplay wise!
The level patches or as they're just called "patches" in this game are usually earn after just simply beating a level and using it to move onto the next one, the only difference is that there are a couple hidden patches inside this game wherein you must meet different requirements to gain the patch. The requirement is based on the ranking system and what you earn from defeating the last enemy of the chapter, there are 4 ranks: (Wood ~ lowest rank and shows Sleeping Kirby, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) now sure call me out if you want saying that you got gold and it still hasn't worked! That's because bosses are the only exception to this rule and actually yield a sort of Platinum rank wherein after reaching that you'll earn the patch they've been hiding in their "gusset" from your grasp all this time. The thing that makes the patches fun is the fact that when you use each patch it creates a cute animation that'll play in order to open the door towards the special/hidden areas. Good example is if you gain the clock patch it will show a bear hibernating in the ground (yes he wasn't there for no reason numb-nuts) and the clock will wake him up, cause him to yawn which will bring up rocks from the ground, and create the next level entry before falling back asleep inside the ground! Talk about creative and fun to watch < 3

                   _______________
             / /~X-_x Extras x_-X~\

Since our story's outline is running "thin" I think it'd be best if we get everything out of the way in this final part and not continue to "dart" ourselves with too much information and adventure at one time. Probably the best thing to get out of the way is to continue where I left off in the addictiveness "cord" about the transformations you can take inside this game, as before I only mentioned the special transformations which are used by jumping into a Metamortex. Bad thing is I never stated that there are several basic forms that you can change into during the adventure. For a few good instances let's say you're in an Ice level *hears shuddering in background about semi-water based level* ....and without complaining about it during your trek through that area you can change into a sleigh by running fast in one direction which can be useful if you want to pay attention to the background or its enemies more instead of having to pay attention to Kirby to see that he's moving how you want.
Two forms you'll use more often though are the top and submarine forms which upon gaining them you'll turn into a...dreidel looking Kirby and spin the enemies into a ball that you can then toss to destroy blocks or other enemies (talk about being brutal and buffed enemies) and then the other form Submarine Kirby....WE ALL LIVE IN A KIRBY SUBMARINE....ok sorry I make a horrid joke about a song with this form...I'm sure it's a pain you don't "yearn" for. Anyway in this form which is similar to the dolphin where you could swim easily this form does the same except that the control isn't the same as you do have to move normally instead of just with the D-Pad. Other than that there isn't much to talk about other than the fact that you may play levels again to gain beads to help Dom Wool upgrade his hotel, play mini games with characters that try to stay at the hotel, as well as the animal crossing nature of designing your very own apartment as well with plush's or wallpaper that you'll unlock  throughout your journey.

We're now coming upon our final chapter now and there's nothing really to discuss here so before we sing our 58 tunes (how many are in the game) of how we'll surpass any "challenge" in this "stringy" body! When you look at every narrow detail and "face" then I can easily say that this game deserves a 9 out of 10 for what it offers when you compared it to previous entries in the series!

??{{__ An Invisible wall for difficultly, that actually causes difficulty__}}??

Probably the main reason why this game is disliked by many besides the art direction is the fact that you aren't allowed to die at all during the duration of the game, instead you are simply brought back by a flying creature named Angie. The only drawback to doing so is that you'll lose beads when doing so and the farther she takes you the more you will lose (and keep in mind that the beads don't stay on the ground for too long) so that's something you probably will "knot" like at all.  Now if you don't care about getting all the levels or any of the furniture items in this game then feel free to be a Dom Wooligan and skip to the ending of this review! Onto those of you whom do care about seeing all this game has, I applaud you and will say that I actually find this lack of difficulty to actually somehow makes the game harder to play/progress through.
What do I mean by that? Well look back up how I described the scoring system, you need to get past a gold rank against bosses and due to that if you just keep getting hit over and over knowing that there is no way to die....then you'll never get that platinum-esque rating. Due to that if you miss a jump inside a normal level as well you kind of wish you could die to start over at the beginning but instead you'll just be dropped back to the last platform you jumped onto. Sometimes that kind really ties my "yarn" into a "knot" as well!

Other than that I'd have to agree that there is no real difficultly factor to this game, so there's nothing much else you can really say for this section which does leave me with my score of at least a 2 out of 10 since you do have SOME difficultly just not a whole bunch; although, I never really did understand needing to have high amounts of difficulty just to have fun with a game? *jumps and whips onto closing curtain*

*ZeroTails and Sonic57 swing onto carpet* Unfortunately this story's "seams" are coming to an end, and sadly this game doesn't allow more than 2 wii motes inside at one time so you'll have to stop reading here.  It is however time for us....to reach the top and face off against the enemy that started it all! It's time to return this land to the peaceful way it used to be, foul monster even went so far as to copy our world and make a mess of it here! It's time do this for our friends castle AND for taking away my ability to spin dash for my lovely chili dogs!! PLUS MY QUILLS!! *see's Yin-Yarn's shadow* This is over, I won't allow "User" to tear apart the very "fabric" of dreamland anymore! *Jumps into MetaMortex and transforms into Quill Shooter Sonic alongside Zero* Let's make this yarn adventure EPIC!

*Shoots quills and laser's off towards Vizzed Board*

                                Sonic57+Pokefreak219tm 2015

                         ___                         ___
        < 3 /O |==| Sweet's Park |==|/O < 3

After a very long existance of basically "board" death I've returned with the first review of this month to make up for last months lack of any knowledge. There will be 2 more withihn the following week or 2 left of March.

Also any of you that think there are error in writing (well at least obvious ones) they're actually used from these sewing definitions as puns:

Hope it's great and I'll see you all again soon (hopefully) Hopefully this "thread" is good enough for you all.

Fantastic job, Sonic! I like how you filled the review to the seams with sewing puns. I have that game, and that was one of the best reviews for it. :3 Good work as always, Sonic!

Great review as always I have to say Kirby is by far one of my favorite video game characters sadly I never played this one as I don't have a Wii didn't seem like the system for me and besides I don't want to have my hand flying of every five minutes.

A user of this : Glad you enjoy it , and it was certainly was a "patch"ful job. ;P I know I saw yesterday that you have it, you lucky little...user xD

TheReaper7290 : Ah really? Huh never knew that before, and he actually is one of my favorites too. Yeah I never was really interested in the Wii either for that reason, I only got it because I didn't want my gamecubes to keep breaking down and my Wii has been great at staying alive.

Funny thing is, this game you aren't really using the wii remotes to point our move your hand across the screen that much at all. Similarly to (Super Paper Mario) you hold the controller sideways and use the D-Pad + 1/2 and the A/B buttons to be able to move around and interact with the environment.

I loved Kirby's Epic Yarn. It parodied the whole mind control thing nicely. And multiplayer was the bomb. I played this game as much as I could when I checked it out from the library, and my bro even joined me on occasion. It was a blast!

I loved the graphics. The whole game oozed fun and charm. And every moment was a delight, (and to agree with your conclusion) not because it was difficult, but because it was awesome. I don't think any number of words could fully do this game justice. It really is one of those games that can't be fully described with our current language, in my opinion.

I'm very pleased that Nintendo is making Yoshi's Woolly World. I think it will do this game justice.

supernerd117 : yeah same here, and the only reason why I never tried it out before was because everyone was saying that it was awful....huge mistake of me to listen to them and since then I haven't listened otherwise. It does just OOZE with creativity, fun, and just a lasting experience that I feel you can always pick up again. I agree with you there, It can't be described completely!

I saw that and I was VERY interested with how it combined this game with Yoshi's Island type gameplay and I would probably jump right on board for saying it'll probably be just as great as this game or at the very least like you said live up to it.

Either way I hope you enjoyed the review!

I just love this game . You did a great job with this review, and the only problem I see is that... nothing?

Also, you mentioned me in the review?! I sorta wish I had a bigger "roll" but... still! I'm just being greedy now, aren't I?

The puns, man. I loved them. Especially since there were puns in the game as well!

Well, I've always wanted to play this game, especially since a YouTuber who actually liked the game played it. Now I have played it, and I loved it. But... you forgot to mention the mini games! D:

Enough of my rant.

ZeroTails : Same here ^-^ and I would've bought it long ago had I not listened to people whom said the game was horrible x'D DANG YOU PEOPLE! Hehe ;P I thought you would like the "tie" in x3 and just like Prince fluff there wasn't really a role for you in here x'3. (psst a review where you're mostly in it xD wouldn't that contradict the idea of me doing the review x3)

Haha xD I didnt know whether people were going to hate me for it or love me for it, and that was going to be my excuse. Blame the game cause it taught me how to joke like that x'D.

I think we're thinking of the same youtuber ;p and I loved that he did it, and THANK YOU X"D I wish I had remembered that when I was writing the review cause I KNEW i forgot one thing but I couldn't think of what it was.....AGGGH x'D maybe next time?

Glad you loved it ;P and hey if the next game has a bigger part I'll add you in it more x'D deal?

I haven't replied to one of these in a while, but I am always sure to check them out. And from doing so I know that I can simply state the negative aspects of my opinion since you'll be getting several "likes" and enough positive feedback that one more compliment --or the lack thereof-- won't hurt. Also you know me well enough to know that I wouldn't be harsh, so balancing my comments won't be necesarry.

So here's my feedback:
-This review is too long, man. 5.5k words... It's difficult to sit through much more than 1,500 or 2,000 words without skimming at some point. And skimming when someone has talent is a waste, and is very unfortunate for both the reader and the writer.

-You strayed. Too much non-review related content (such as the *action* comments and review setting depictions, like the falling and spin dashing for chili dogs, or the curtains opening to reveal Vizzed board, a lounge etc. in the background ) really kind of sidetracked my mind. Especially the (I'm assuming) Ace Attourney portion of the review. It was nearly 200 words that had nothing to do with the game, and there were a few other exanples of this elsewhere. It detracted from things quite a bit.

-Too much detail. Yeah, this one is rarely mentioned in review replies, but you can have too much detail, and this review has that problem. You described multiple songs in probably 300 - 800 words worth of detail each. Same with explaining each level that you did. It loses interest most of the time when you do that. You have a very good eye (and ear) for details, just remember to use that to play to your advantage in a review, rather than fully describing the details on these things.

Brevity is often a good thing in a review. Basically what I'm saying is sum up the details in as few words as possible. That way you're thorough and detailed without being overly wordy and losing the reader.

That does it for my criticisms. I can't tell you how hard it is for me to say anything negative about your work, but I'm only doing so because I know you really have an ability for writing these reviews and I want you to reach your full potential. I push the ones with the most potential, so if anything my complaints show that I feel you have talent.

Don't be angry or disheartened by this, please.

Eirinn : I don't see why I would be mad at you for giving criticism since everyone is going to get that sooner or later so why should it matter now or later? For my response to the feedback I will say:

The length: Honestly I don't think I will ever be at 2k word reviews anymore even if I tried to, and still feel like I'd enjoy the work I do. It's a change in writing and personally if anything is to blame (or justify however you look at it) it's what happened in Aug-December with my writing courses. I had to skim my work there and that was quite difficult for me, and I ended up looking away from writing for a while (which is why I almost quit my reviewing job on here twice) I'm a wordy character and so is my work. That's my synopsis here, though I do take your words into account and I know my work isn't easy to read either....but odds are to me that if I don't enjoy my writing, not many will either?

Straying: My reviews typically since late 2014 ~ 2015 have changed and become more so *action* + fact oriented to keep things entertaining in my eyes and helps show life inside of a review instead of just feeling bland and just like reading simple words on a screen that you'd see in an instruction manual.

Detail Overload: This is probably the biggest issue you'll have from me now on, as this is something I probably won't be quitting in the future. The reason why I give as much detail as I can is the fact that I've trusted reviews on game magazines and website...they barely described what I wanted to see or what would get me interested so when i bought it 85% of the time I was thoroughly disappointed. I want to make sure I'm letting everyone know what they need without exactly ruining the complete gameplay of the game and still offering enjoyment to the viewers or potential buyers.

I can understand your side and heck do you honestly think I would blame you at all for it? Not everyone enjoy's the same things and creators/developers always change their ideas and formats after a while (like this game changing from the past games). To be honest I actually am glad to see some criticism come this way, as I always do take it into account but I may not always use what is being advised later on (like how play4fun did with the wind waker review) I continue with what I feel is best but I'm glad you at least brought up some points you felt you didn't enjoy so much.

Sorry that this wasn't as much of a breathtaker to you as previous ones have been, but it's probably going to be like this from this point onward so you'll probably either have to ask me to stop summoning you if you won't enjoy the following ones or just adapt to it possibly? I'll reiterate again that I do see your side of the story and that: "this is huge, this does stray around, and it's very time consuming/too descriptive to stay on track. And I'll be the first to agree with you, it is...but that's kind of how I love doing these and am able to call them my own.

Thanks for your reply though anyway buddy < 3 hope you can see my side as well?

sonicthehedgehog57 : Yea, I guess you're right about that. A review with me in the whole review would defeat the purpose of you writing the review, true. Also, that's why I tend to experience the games myself. I don't care what IGN says, PMD is an amazing game. This is also a great game. I bet this is what IGN said about this game: To many puns 6/10.

How true

I was talking about SlimKirby when I mentioned the YouTuber aspect. He's one of my favorite YouTubers. I could never forget the mini games because... they can be so aggravating sometimes!

Deal!

ZeroTails : x3 mh-hm then I'd just have to give the review to you because you'd be all over it xD < 3 and PMD? And well it was criticized for it's looks mostly.

x'3 I really wish I could've remembered that but either way I hope the next review will be good enough for you
