After many months of hard work, our work on the second part of Devil's Nightmare has finally come to an end. This behemoth has 15-16 "levels", and is about three times as long as it's predecessor. Like the first part, once you get good at it, your time will fall quickly.

Unlike part 1, I expect an expert time in part 2 to be between 12 and 13 minutes. For comparison, in part 1, 3 of us managed to speedrun in under 4 minutes.

If you check out the entrance to the second part, you'll see that what used to be a sign is now a button. Hit that, and you'll find yourself in DN part 2.

Unfortunately this is an extension to part 1. As such, you need to have beaten the first part in order to play the second one. This leaves us with a short list of players who will be able to start this right off the bat:

We will also be releasing competitions for DN part 2 within the next 24 hours.

A few competition threads to look out for will be:
1. First Finisher of DN Part 2
2. Fastest Recorded Speedrun of both parts 1 and 2 together
3. Recorded Runthrough with the fewest deaths of Part 2

These will have very nice prizes including gift cards and large sums of Viz.
Like I said, keep a lookout for them.

We've made a few changes to what you see in the trailer, so it's not 100%. One major change is the number of blocks. The current DN has between 18 and 20 million blocks, which is almost 10 times the amount of blocks estimated in the trailer. Part of this is due to a fantastic final level, which you might soon experience.

My laptop is too poor to handle recordings and minecraft at the same time, but at least i'll be able to play it. Sound like this will be one huge challenge.

That's unfortunate. Luckily at least one of the competitions, First Finisher, only requires you to take a screenshot once you finish, if you're interested in that.

EideticMemory : Small question, where exactly is the button that takes you there? I've tried the one next to the portal to DN1 inside Phemcee's mini-game heaven, but that won't take me anywhere.

Don't feel too bad, my computer sucks too much to even play it, even if I wanted to.

I basically lagged my way through the first DN. If my PC could handle Minecraft, it may have been different.

Safe to say, I won't bother attempting it, since I know it'll be fruitless, considering my PC capabilities.

Why in the world would I want to play it??? Just why?

Never been bored during the video, just once? Yes? No? Yes but no? Possibly? I must confess my commentary was poor at some points, especially at the end. Actually, recording a full one-hour video, besides the fact that it takes lot of space in the hard drive, is quite exhausting
