Hey there, people of the land of V! Green here with another Fnaf thread! This time, we will talk about 6 AM. Yes, you must survive till 6 AM to win. But, have you ever wondered why the Animatronics will stop attacking you as soon as you hit 6 AM? Some people think that the Animatronics have to return to the Show Stage to perform. Well, I disagree, because no way a restaurant will open this early. You may think this mystery is already solved, but actually, nope. My theory is that 6 AM is the time which the Animatronics's 'Free Roaming' mode ends here. So, they have to go back to sleep mode, and they have to be prepared soon, as later the restaurant will open of course. What are your thoughts? Why the Animatronics will stop attacking you as soon as you hit 6 AM?

I actually DO think that the restaurant opens at that time. After all, it is highly possible for a restaurant to open at 6 AM, it's happened before.

LunarDarkness2 : Wow, I didn't know that. But, I did read in the wiki that a restaurant can't open this early, though you're saying some restaurants do open at 6 AM. Well, we'll just wait an answer from Scott, and I wanna see more info in the third game.

greenluigi : Well, you know, you can't always trust wikis. Plus, we live in different parts of the world, so I don't know if any restaurants there open at 6 AM or not, but I have a ton in my area. For example, Dunkin Donuts. (Is that really counted as a restaurant? If not, I can name a few more that open up at 6 AM.)

Most restaurants that I know open at either 6 or 7 for breakfast, especially fast food places, which I would say a place like this would count as, so it is possible that staff start to open the place at 6, especially because they actually have to start baking before they open.

It's actually quite normal for some restaurants to open as early as 6 AM , but I agree that it's kind of odd since Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is supposed to be a family eatery, and I doubt any child would be up as early as six in the morning unless he or she were going to school xP.

I also think it's because their "free roaming mode" is no longer activated during the day, which is why they stop wandering around. As Phone Guy said, it's probably a glitch in the system, and they were never given a proper night mode, so... yeah. 

It would make a lot of sense, too. Perhaps the Bite of '87 occurred because of a rare instance in which that free roaming mode was somehow activated during the day .

I don't see why the animatronic would bite instead of stuff the child into a suit, assuming it saw him or her as an endoskeleton, but, hey, glitches are strange.

The getting ready to perform thing would also make sense, though, as people would come over to set them up and stuff, making them realize that it is daytime.

EDIT: Maybe they actually don't stop trying to attack you. Maybe you just leave because your shift is over ;P.

My theory: Somebody does say someone takes your place so you do not care anymore and just run outta there as fast as you can.

Your theory: They need to go back to sleep.
 
 other theory: They need to go get ready to open.
 
 Well really I think we can rule your theory out because they do go to sleep mode after 6am you can tell. The place opens and they go back to sleep and when the worker comes in turns em on and stuff. So I think it is personally a mixture of mine and everybody elses
