I was heavily involved in sports and actively stayed away from girls in 5-8th grade and besides a few pecks on the lips, I never seriously kissed anyone until I was in 9th grade.

The girl was named Nikki and she had long black hair.  I remember having no idea what to do and she knew what she was doing so I felt silly.  She tasted like Coca Cola and I thought it was the strangest thing to stick my tongue in another person's mouth.  I wasn't sure how that showed affection any more than anything else and I was mildly grossed out about it when I started to really think about it.

It wasn't fun, it wasn't exciting, it was kinda.... ewww.

Lord, how things changed and quickly.

warmaker : Bwahaha. Man, that's a pretty disappointing first kiss, though I would argue that those little "pecs" could be maybe considered your first kiss, but I wasn't there.

Light Knight : I don't know anyone who had a magical and wonderful first kiss.  The pressure of it, the expectation, the actual act, the feelings, the tastes.... it's all so foreign and unusual it can't be executed well.  There are people who've kissed other people and are still bad at it.

It wasn't all I hoped for but I didn't know what I was going into.  And I don't call little kisses, even lips, to be real 'first kisses.'  By my definition there has to be some sort of tongue, some awkwardness, and then you've done it and you can scratch it off your list.

warmaker : A kiss is like... Smoking, your first time won't be as great as you expect. But for me, it really did live up to expectations. You just feel a connection that you never felt before, that you went up to the next level and that you were ready to take it on. The kiss itself was pretty awkward, I mean, even she said ' That was weird... But a good weird. You know?' and I just had to agree with that.

I remember mine.  It was with this girl that had been crushing on me for years.  We were alone and I popped the question "Should we kiss?".  She said yeah and then when we locked lips, it felt amazing back then.  However back it now, I don't really like as much.  I don't really feel that it was otherworldly or sensational and I don't really want to consider it my first kiss.

   My first kiss?  At the time it was something magical, a life changing experience,  I was going out with a girl in grade 8, she had magnificent ginger hair, very pretty, artsy kind of girl.  It was Halloween night, after trick or treating, we sorted our candy down in her basement, played video games, chit chat, etc. and as I was leaving to go home she hugged me and planted a big softy on my lips.  I was rather shocked and unresponsive during this act, because, well, I'm a nerd, and this was quite unexpected.  As I recall, I was singing and dancing a strange jig on my way home because I was so happy!

  Though, with time, that incredible, magical feeling the first kiss had faded and it turned into a generic, almost expected thing.  Now the easiest way to not enjoy the act of a kiss is most certainly feeling like your expected to kiss someone, even when you don't want to (strange I know, I don't even get it sometimes )

It was... magical. I was 23 at the time and had never had any intimate relationship with anyone. During the night, we got to know each other a little. And then we went on the mezzanine so we could hear each other a little better. We sat about a meter apart, we got our hands closer... and the rest is history.

To think back on it now, I guess it was pretty white trash. It happened in the back of a trailer with a girl who was my neighbor with her brother at least hopefully asleep on the other end. She was my neighbor and my best friend. We were maybe 13-14 years old. We would kiss but not really "make out" but just enjoyed the feeling like two people who have never experienced anything like it before and then she just suddenly stopped. And it went on for hours.

And we never ever spoke about it. I kind of had hopes about us finally being boyfriend and girlfriend but since she wanted to pretend it never happened, I guess I just went along. Later I guess I realized she was just as terrified as I was of the whole thing and maybe, even if she did share my feelings it was foolish of me to think she would have been at that age any less shy than I was.

Well then my first kiss was a dare, but nonetheless I will explain it, was on July or mid-June I was going for a walk, when I was suddenly stopped by one of my friends one of them said "Would you want to chill with us?" "Sure" I replied we were going everywhere, but when wanted to go home (I was getting tired of walking around) they wanted to visit I said "Sure" we were walking to my house when we were called by one of our other friend they wanted to chill with us, and we said for awhile when it was getting dark we were playing truth or dare until it was my turn I was dared to kiss this beautiful girl I said "okay", and I went in for it, but I went soft and steady and there you go my first kiss.

My 1st kiss, yikes I still remember it. I was I think either 11 or 12. It was an amusement park, Knotts Berry Farm.

Aw...this is most interesting. The first kiss that i remember was with cameron at a bookstore i worked at while i was on shift. he was a sweet guy and even took me for a day on rodeo drive. 

Good gravy this sure is a fun thread to read! It's so amazing how clearly that everyone remembers all their first kisses! It made me realize that no one had ever asked me of how I got my first kiss... So I shall share!



Her name was Clarissa. (Oh, um I'm pansexual. Sorry if that's strange.) When I was in late junior high/early high school I always did this 'game' that was pretty much LARPing but I had never heard of LARPing where if I were to be hit on the head that I would act as best as I could as different characters from  anime and tv shows. So one day I was pretending to be black Haru from the anime Fruits Basket (very good show if you like slice of life drama. The comic's the most depressing thing I ever read though.) and we were playing truth or dare, because I was too timid to play it as myself. I was annoyed that Clarissa was taking all the attention and making sure everyone focused on her so I dared her to kiss me. I moved in and kissed her, and she just stuck her face in a static grin the whole time so I really just kinda kissed her front teeth. I called her on it and she said that I said to kiss her, her to kiss me... or some stupid stuff like that. I just felt happy that I embarrassed her. My trick would never work a second time though, cuz less than a week later I saw pictures of the next sleepover (yes, we did them weekly) which I had missed and she was full on making out with the other girls as if they were posing for some kinda poster. (If you've ever seen scott pilgrim vs the world, kinda like Scott's poster.) Not anything gross, but I was clearly outclassed. *sigh*



The only time I ever had a first kiss that was magical was my first kiss with my current boyfriend. (My third first kiss?) For our second and a half date I took my darling to my secret base. It's got a big tree with a low branch, a little brook that runs through it, and a small little beach with soft white sand. We set up a little picnic and were talking about stuff that I can't remember anymore. For some reason, I starting to sing to him one of my favorite songs "Dare I say" by Alexander Rybak. He was so starstruck and amazed at the song (He thought I had written it) that he gave me a kiss.

Of course it was with my current wife, who also happens to be the only girl I've ever kissed. But my first kiss was a very traditional and awkward one, as most people's first kiss is. We decided to go watch a movie as our first date...again, very traditional and old fashioned. It was a movie we both enjoyed watching, the first Sherlock Holmes movie. So we we're both in a really good mood after it was over. I drove her home afterwards, and we talked for a little bit in the car before she got out. Long story short, the talk ended with a very awkward kiss. I know it was just our first date, but I'm glad I did it and I have 0 regrets!

If you care to know the reason why it was awkward, we both leaned in and we knocked our teeth together. I know that's very strange but that's why I say it was awkward XD

My first kiss was (french-kiss). The first kiss is the kiss that has left more sign . Sorry for my poor english.

My first kiss was really bad actually lol... It was french kissing so of course it was terrible... honestly I sucked at it I'm sure.. it was actually a rainy day on the day I got my first kiss.. I wanted my first kiss to happen in the rain for some reason (I know that's weird but what can I say I was 15 lol) didn't happen though and it was quite awkward more than anything lol.

My first kiss was actually, about four months ago. I'm 18, so it was kind of late... but it's better late than never I suppose. The kiss was very sweet and innocent. He was the first guy I dated. We were watching paranormal activity 3 (I think). We laid on the bed and his head was in my lap. I leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips. It was awkward since his face was upside down from my angle, but I loved it. 

My fist kiss wasn't that great. It was just a peck with my girlfriend at the time. The messed up part about it was that she left me about a week later for some other dude because I took too long to kiss her. I mean, it was my first real relationship, so it is what it is, but stuff happens in relationships.
