Ok, this is my review of max payne. My favorite game ever. Check it out.
Graphics: 8/10 pretty great for the time. There are a bit of edges on max's head, etc, but overall good graphics for the time.
Sound: 8/10 Pretty great. The music at some parts, and the gun clips are pretty nice. Click on my layout music clip for why I like the sound so much.
Addictiveness: 9/10 I have played this game over and over again, it never gets old. There are different difficulties once you beat the game, including a speedrun mode where you beat the game as fast as you can.
Story: 10/10 the story is the best part of the game. I am not going to tell the story cause that would ruin it for those of you who wanna play the game.
Depth: 8/10 the depth of this game is pretty great. It's not overly long, kinda long, but the innumerable am out of Easter eggs makes it have more depth. Great depth amount.
Difficulty N/A the game has a self-adjusting difficulty, so if you are doing bad, it makes it easier, and if you are rockin it, it cranks up the difficulty. Self adjusting difficulty is something they should do with every game.
Overall: 9.9/10 this game is a great game and I highly recommend it to anyone. I hope you are persuaded to purchase this masterpiece, you can find it for not so much nowadays.

It's strange how i looked past this review, especially considering how much i love this game. I know you've gotten better at reviewing, but i still want to give some feedback.

The biggest issue is detail. For most all of the categories you just say "pretty great" or some version of that and give a weak example or two. For example, the sound section is essentially you just saying the sounds are nice. Why? Talk about the mood of the soundtrack, like with how much energy it has. Note: another issues with that section is the statement "Click on my layout music clip for why I like the sound so much.". Some people have layouts disabled; they won't be able to listen to the clip from your layout.

The other issue is grammar. Capitalisation, typos like "am out" in place of "amount" and overall formatting (you could really do with spacing after each section) could all use fixing.

I know you've gotten better at this, but i just want to say i hope you take this advice in stride. You will get better if you keep trying.

I am not what i would consider squeamish. But the beginning origin of our tragic hero has the part with his family, and it did disturb me. I could not play Max Payne after that. Just don't involve the little kids in it, man, thats all I wanted.
