We've all been there- you need to buy more Max Potions and Full Restores and Revives for your Pokémon League challenge, but you've already beaten every single Trainer in the game! And this isn't Red or Blue, so no Missingno. to clone those Nuggets, either, not unless you're feeling lucky enough to risk finding one with the Mew Glitch (and believe me, finding one in Yellow that won't freeze your game upon encounter is an infuriating process). Need more money? Here's what I did in Yellow, it worked for me.
You need two Pokémon. One of them should be your Pikachu, and the only move that matters for this is Pay Day. You can find the TM just south of Lavender Town, it's on that one dock you have to Surf to get to. The other one should be Butterfree, and it should know Harden, Sleep Powder, and Flash.
First, go into Victory Road and encounter a wild Onix. Send in Butterfree. Use Sleep Powder to put it to sleep, and then spam Harden until it wakes up. This will ensure that Onix doesn't knock Butterfree out before you can properly set things up. Then, once it wakes up, keep using Harden until it starts to use Rage. Then switch to using Flash, until Onix misses with Rage. This is the best part- due to a glitch, if Rage misses in these games, its accuracy plummets to something like a 1 in 256 chance of hitting. One-hit KO moves have better chances of hitting than that! Once Rage misses, that's your cue to switch to Pikachu- Onix can't do a thing to it, leaving you free to spam Pay Day until Onix faints or Pikachu runs out of PP for Pay Day, whichever comes first. And given Onix's incredible Defense, it can take a lot of Pay Days, allowing you to rake in thousands of Pokédollars per battle!
