Just today Nintendo has announced that in November of 2014 remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire will be released!
They will be called Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! So, now it seriously is HOENN CONFIRMED!
Fans have been waiting for this since the release of Pokemon X & Y! With the release of each new Generation since Ruby and Sapphire, Nintendo has made a remake of the one of the previous Generations. We have Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green, Pokemon Heart gold and Soul Silver, and now Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Really this was supposed to happen with Black and White, but Nintendo waited until X & Y, and I for one am glad to have it on 3DS and not the original DS. While the DS was great, it was too gimmick-ed with the touch screen, and Dual Screen. They somewhat forgot about good old gameplay with Wii and DS and now Wii U and 3DS has harkened back to the old days when Nintendo Ruled with first party games being best sellers!
So, who else is excited for this and will be there on launch night? Also, if you're like me, you bought the original Ruby or Sapphire when it first came out!
