I would probably teach drawing. Not just any drawing though. I would teach the art of Anime. We don't seem to have any of those art classes in the west.

I don't know if I should choose yet, because I'm still in 7th grade (I live in Europe), but if I had to choose, it would either be English (it isn't my first language, so that may be fun) or maths. As you can probably see, I chose English because I think I'm fairly ahead of my class (as said before, not my first language) and I chose maths, because why not, I'm good at them.

I would most definitely teach Science. The main reason for this is because Science is the subject I am best at. It can't be Math, because that is the subject I am worst at. So, no math please.

If I could teach, I would teach elementary school kids their math class. All throughout my career in school, math was always my favorite subject. I was in the more advanced math classes all the time. I remember I started learning Algebra in 7th grade, so I guess maybe I could even teach junior high students too. I don't think I would want to teach high school math because I don't think I would like the atmosphere, honestly.

But I think I would actually love teaching elementary school kids. Most of my friends in high school were terrible at math, but I don't see how they could be. Its actually very simple, and I think I would be able to teach elementary school kids very effectively.

If I could teach and had the capability, I would teach elementary biology. I know that elementary grades have a 'science' class, but I'm sorry, they need to be taught more than they are, currently. By the time you get to high school and take the normal (and mandatory, at least here) Biology I class, unless you are a bio-nerd (like me) you are SO woefully underprepared. It means bad grades and in many cases, disinterested teachers because kids just don't want to take the class.

Teach a natural biology-specific class in elementary school, and you wind up fueling younger children's interest. It won't work on everyone, of course, but it can at least
help, and then teenagers are a bit more prepared to face a high school biology course with something besides groans or falling asleep every time the mechanical-voiced DVD lectures are run.

If I could teach any sport, I would probably have to say that I would go with History. It's the only thing that interests me to the point of wanting to go to college, but the lack of opportunities with a degree in History is what's keeping me from going. That, and I doubt I would have patience for the immaturity of school age kids.

If I were a teacher, I would probably teach art or music. I have always loved both of those subjects. I love using my imagination, and creating new things with what I already have. I like to sketch and draw, so I would probably teach people how to draw and what techniques to use. I can play clarinet, and sing as well. There's a lot of tricks for those as well.

If I was a teacher, I would most likely teach psychology or biology. These are some of the current subjects that fascinate me now. I am fairly good at English and the major sciences, I am decent in history even though I often find it boring and repetitive, and I really dislike math...I chose these subjects (even though they are electives) because they interest me, and I would be a lot more passionate about teaching it than I would teaching anything else. It's difficult to maintain interest in subjects I find uneventful, so I can't imagine what it would be like to teach it. My other alternative would be art, it's a pretty mellow subject and the majority of its concepts are fairly simple.  I also enjoy drawing whenever I have the free time, so why not?

I did teach Chemistry for a short stint as a collage TA, but I don't think I could continue teaching Chemistry.

I have my degree in Biology, and although I'd love to teach Anatomy and Physiology, Biochem, Mycology, Parasitology, Cell Biology, and a lot of that kind of stuff, It wouldn't be my favorite.

My favorite thing to teach would be History from late antiquity to the late middle ages.  Who wouldn't want to do that?

I actually just had one of those ephiphany things or whatever you call them a few days ago as I was walking home and thinking about some of the things that I have been doing at school and I learned something big about myself.

I learned that I really like Sociology and i actually started to consider the possibility that once I finish off my current major that I might go to school to become a teacher and I would teach sociology.

I would have never before though that I would be a teacher teaching sociology, but if I was a teacher, then that would be the new subject that I would teach.

I'm still going with Math, but I should expand upon what I said in my previous post. I wouldn't teach Algebra or any other high school math subject, since I've been struggling with that a lot more. I struggled with Pre-Algebra as well. I think I'd teach an elementary school math class since I love helping people with math, I've always been very good at it, and I like working with kids too.

Not sure, but I'd probably teach either math or social studies, since those are the subjects I have the easiest time with besides english (though I've never really had to pay much attention in english class because I was always ahead ).

Out of those I suppose social studies would be the subject I'd be most interested in but I may be better at teaching mathematics simply because I've actually done it two or three times during high school, as part of trying to get a better grade, it was pretty nervous but basically all times I did it, my math teacher said it went perfectly.

Science. Preferably 7th or 8th graders. They still actually want to learn more often I think. Plus they know just enough to ask decent questions. Either that or maybe some college-prep science where the kids also want to learn. My two favorite teachers ever were my 8th grade science teacher and the teacher that taught Biology 1 & 2 and Chemistry in high school. R.I.P. Mr Swanson. This is a little off-topic, but strangely enough, in my high school 20+ years ago we were never taught about evolution, I knew about it because I had a mind that was ravenous for science knowledge, and read anything I could get my hands on science-related. They didn't teach intelligent design, creationism, or anything in my public school. Now it's a huge deal. Baffles me.

I would probably teach Latin as a teacher. It was one of my favorite subjects and not too hard.

I'd prefer to teach in the beginning of high school, when most people start their Latin courses.

If I were a teacher, I would either teach some form of math that is algebra or lower, or maybe some form of history. ( Oh, I already said that ) .

I would also teach some form of a computer class. I would probably have to chose something to specialize in, but given enough time, I am sure I could get to a point where I would be comfortable teaching it.

Chemistry, nuff said. I'd be the teacher that did all the cool chem demonstrations, like contact explosives, expanding foam, multicolor fire with different metal compounds.

History + AP World History, and if I could then I'd only accept students for my AP class that I've interacted with before and could tell were genuinely interested in the subject; I'd deny anyone who wouldn't take the class seriously or wouldn't invest their hearts into the class. History isn't just about memorizing dates and data, it's about learning about the trials, mistakes, accomplishments, and mysteries of the past and how they've propelled us forward. It's like philosophy, but completely factual and provable.
