A little over a year from now Star Wars 2015 will be released. As we also all know it will be made by Disney. The guys who cacelled Star Wars 1313...go to hell Disney. But they did do a good job with the Avengers however that doesn't mean they'll perfect Star Wars. But if Disney is reading this here's what we want and don't want in Star Wars.

Mickey Mouse - Don't Want
Nothing would be better that mickey mouse holding a light saber right? Wrong! When we get Star Wars merchandise will most likely follow. What we don't want to see is something as sacred as Star Wars ruined by Master Mouse or Master Mickey whatever. Just keep it simple like t-shirts or mini pod racers.

Jedi Academy - Want
We know what happened to the Jedi. We know the story of Luke Skywalker. Now there's only 1 thing left untold...what happened to Jar Jar Banks? No, what needs to happen next is the story of Luke's Jedi Academy. There's nothing left to tell but that. We don't want any spin offs just do what needs to be done.

Crappy message - Don't Want
For the love of god don't make half the movie about trusting in the force and the power of friendship. We don't give a crap about believing in the trust of others. Not a single character classed as bad@$$ goes on and on about how you can win any battle if you follow your heart. Give us some awesome Jedi words of wisdom like "No, Try not, Do or do not there is no try". Give us an uplifting message something that makes us wanna attempt to do 8 back flips. Just no heartfelt messages.

Lightsabers - Want
We want to see more of the iconic weapon of the Star Wars Saga. We miss the sound of classic beam swords and the force filled battles. So give us plenty of that. Lacking in lightsaber fights would be an epic fail. Now that you have a whole academy full of padawans and masters there's no excuse for us missing out on some epic battles.

Last but not least

With all that what would you want to see and not want to see in the next Star Wars film?

For the most part, I hope that the movie isn't really bad. I really agree with your list but what I really want, Chewbacca. He has to come back for me to actually be compelled to watch the film.

Well Disney did not add any of your don't wants to the Avengers so I doubt they would ruin a movie as good as Star Wars with it. Also I do not know when the next movie takes place yet so I do not know what I want in it but I do know I want Jar Jar in it............. just kidding!

I'm looking forward to the newer installation. It's still being directed by George Lucas, right?

I didn't even know about this until I saw it mentioned in another thread. I'm curious to see Han Solo and Leia's children (whether they turn out to be Jedi) and who becomes Luke's padawan.

tornadocam : I'm 99.9% sure he won't be in it. His story is told and there's nothing left to tell. I really see no possible way to bring him back without doing maybe some sort of spin off prequel. I know Disney isn't stupid enough to do that.

EideticMemory : I'm quite sure he won't be directing it. Since Disney bought the rights they will most likely have their production team do it. Maybe if they're smart they'll bring him in as a consultant. But I'm sure he will not be a part of the film itself as of now.

Blub, Oh. I really hope they don't absolutely ruin this last one. 

Do we know whether they're still doing a continuation of the series, then?

If this is some middle of the sequence story or not relating to the series well, I'll be unhappy.

Also, we want well developed soldiers with character. Like how Luke had his buddies and fellow wingmen that he knew before taking off to fight on the Death Star.

Even though these aren't major characters, the were there and added a little bit of depth and realism too it all. That is something that I loved about Star Wars.

Ugh, even Lucas has been doing this a bit much, but if we get a bunch of kiddied up Star Wars trash like you said, it's just going to start to embarrass the fans and take away from what Star Wars was.

I hate  this so much. I love how awesome looking some of the Star Wars stuff is.

Making it all kiddie is just annoying and . . . well. . .making it for kids (not the WHOLE family)

Which is why Star Wars was so awesome in the first place.
