Alright enough of that joker.Welcome to the Pokemon Reviews,today i am looking at the COOLEST BIRD TYPE TO EVER EXIST,i am serious this thing is AWESOME,PISS OFF SKARMORY BECAUSE WE GOT A NEW BULLY IN THE HOOD,alright enough of that,its time to review Honchkrow because...well i told you i would review this Pokemon eventually after the Murkrow review


Moveset

At the start this thing has 4 moves,unfortunately i don't have the time or patience to tell you what those moves stats are,so i will just tell you what moves to use because....well we all know my word is law and i am practically a god

Astonish,yes....but barely passes
Pursuit,yes
Haze,no
Wing attack,yes

I hope you really like these moves because its what your going to be using until you get to level 25

Swagger,25: This move confuses the target but raises its attack by 1 stage,decent take it if you want but i don't like it,and don't spam it,you don't want to give the target a major attack boost after they come out of there confusion

Nasty Plot,35: This move raises the users special attack stat by 2 stages,great move but....its not the best move for this Pokemon but if you want it take it,just know that there will not be alot of moves that will work with this move,if you know what i mean

Foul play,45: Alright i uh...i barely know how this move works and i still did not have much of an idea about how its works until after testing,all i know is this move has a base attack damage of 95 and has 100% accuracy,also this move inflicts extra damage but it depends on the targets attack stat,once again i don't have much of an idea about how this move works but screw it i had fun using it,and its possibly Honchkrows best move,so take it use it love it..if you want

Night Slash,55: This move is nothing but the dark type Pokemon's version of slash,This move has a base attack damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has an increased critical hit ratio,great move use it..but don't love it

Quash,65: Now we get a move that i have...never even heard of,this move makes the targets move last....can someone explain this to me...because uh...screw it,take it if you want but i did not have much of a use for it,in fact i think i did not have any use for it

Dark Pulse,75: Now we have one of the coolest sounding moves EVER,This move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy also this move has a 20% chance of making the target flinch,great move,this is Honchkrow's 2nd best move,take it use it love it


Stats

Hp,100:This is a awesome stat,now have some perfect bulk for a Pokemon that does not really have the best defense...

Attack,125: HOLY CRAP THIS IS A GREAT STAT,some legendary's don't have a attack stat like this,great stat please please PLEASE make use of it

Defense,52:...yeah...that's why we have that high health,this thing defense is terribly low and its not that good of a trade off,in fact its pretty bad

Sp.Atk105: Once again great stat,now this is good because we now have a mixed attacker like feel for this Pokemon,which just gives it more points for me

Sp.Def,52:...everything i have said about defense....just apply it here

Speed.71: Once again...lacking but still its better than its defense stat,so screw it,i give it an a for effort

This thing has 3 weaknesses,rock Electric and ice,alright not to bad,really only 2 of these are common,those are rock and electric,and these guys both have a common weakness,Ground,and this type is easily found,as for ice its not going to be that big of a problem because usually a ground type is going to have a rock type move,but still you can make the argument that ground types are weak to ice types,and that true so your going to have to have something like a fire type or a rock type to destroy your weakness, that's alot of talking...well typing,ultimately you can get past these weaknesses

I did not have much of a problem leveling this Pokemon,still you are going to run into some bumps in the road

Fly:This move is here for when you want to get away from some damage and deal some damage,but be aware that after you land your taking some damage

Sucker Punch:This move is here to prevent some damage,it will most likely always hit first,and most likely make the target flinch?

Night slash: This move is here to be your main attack move,its not used to protect you from anything its just used to cut Pokemon down

Night slash: This move is going to be for main physical attack move,once again its just used to cut Pokemon down

Dark Pulse: This move is here to take down some psychic or some ghost types,basically its meant to be your strongest move that targets the opponents weaknesses

Psychic: This move is here to be your main attack move,its not used to protect you from anything its just used to cut Pokemon down


Gyms Rival and Elite 4

Gyms: Alright this Pokemon is pretty effective in gyms,even in the start of the game its going to be very effective

Rivals: This guy is even BETTER against your rival,because its so powerful and it has so few weaknesses that its going to absolutely destroy him/her,you may have some trouble though

Trainers...*whistles*

Elite 4: Should you take this Pokemon to the elite 4....yes go ahead and take it,its going to be a decent addition to your party and a worthy Pokemon to fight alongside you until the very end


Tips

1.The sets i made are very different,the first one if a average set that can work for anyone,the second one is a mixed attacker like feel

2.If you EV train this thing i highly recommend you focus on speed and speed only,if you do then the defense stat will not matter

Final Thoughts:How to describe this Pokemon...its a train wreck...but a good train wreck,this Pokemon try's to be a mixed attacker but just slightly fails,it has a hit and miss moveset,hit and miss stats,hit and missed tms,and it destroys most of the a.i,its very hard for me to describe this Pokemon...Okay basically its like going into a new semester in high school,then going to a different class and learning a different subject,then in the first weak the teacher gives you a test,and you get a C,that's literally the only few ways i could describe this thing,it just slightly fails,overall i give this Pokemon credit for what its trying to do,even though it does not achieve its goal,also i will give it the Agent of Awesomeness badge for trying its hardest..and for being awesome

Fun fact:...my grand father had a pet Raven I SWEAR TO GOD I AM NOT LYING,if you guys remember the first awesome month review when i reviewed Ekans,you will recall that i said my grandfather was a science teacher at a college and every week he would bring in a new creature for the class,and i have a pet pig...so i guess weird pets just run in the family

Nice picture. 

Honchrow is really really good regarding the Attack stats, both physical and special. 

Defenses however, are another thing...not the very best at all. I recommend having moves (in its adequate move pool) that are mostly damage, no stat reductions, no poisoning, etc. Definitely do not waste time on Quash. It is really useless on Honchkrow. 

Regarding attacks, well, it is a pretty wide move pool, so there is not too much room for error. 

If possible, try and teach Honchkrow Brave Bird...an excellent STAB attack that will usually end with a OHKO, complimenting Honchkrow's very nice attack stats. 

Night Slash is a well-rounded move, so try to aim to keep it on Honchkrow. 

Keep in mind Steel types. That is Honchkrow's weakness. Aim to have a fire move on Honchkrow so he can take Steel types out without having to switch in another Pokemon, and take damage.
