There are many different legends about dragons. They're in our mythology, our video games, our fiction, our history. They come in different styles and flavors. They're fascinating creatures, to be sure. But I personally feel like I don't know enough about them, so I'd like to learn a bit more about them.

I was advised that this may not qualify for this forum since dragons are considered myth, but dragons are still animals, so I think they should count.

I think that dragons could have been a living animal. It is not an impossible thing. If you are interested in dragons you should watch the documentary dragons a fantasy made real. It is a pretty interesting documentary and a must see for anyone that loves dragons.

I love how dragons are portrayed in Eragon and Avatar. It's too bad that if dragons did exist today, they would not last very long as humans would drive them extinct.

sonikku : Fire is also colored based on temperature. Whereas red flames tend to be 800°C, blue flames are 1400°C. I think that dragons that can blow fire hot enough to melt rock are cooler than dragons that can't. Blue flames also look cooler. Sorry about being unclear.

I like dragons, they are my favourite mythical creature.
