Hastily made video, made clear mistakes, but the question stands out. What is this song? It's driving me mad. Anything you might know would be great. I hope there are some very learned scholars of music here that will help unravel the mystery.

Ok Darkpower508, I think I may have a lead, though not the exact answer yet.

After cleaning up the clip, I was able to listen to the tune a little better. If you want, I can send it to you. Also it would help if I had a long clip of the context of the tune, especially the noise that surrounds it. See I can take a sample of the noise, and then remove it from the entire clip, leaving me with the song.

Anyway, I think it may be two songs together. Either it's the DJ was fading one in and the other out, thus getting both at the same time, or perhaps it was two stations at once. Anyway, I'm about 80% sure one of the songs is the remake of Clocks by Rhythms Del Mundo. Specifically, this part: http://youtu.be/Dt96Jx-gSbc?t=4m8s . Now you may say, no, the tune isn't quite the same, but I'm pretty sure it's because the second song is interfering and changing our perception of the tune.

I also was able to finally isolate a clip that Shazam (you know what this is right?) was able to tag, and it tagged it to Rhythms Del Mundo.

What may help us is knowing what country or city this was picked up, and when, even the year can help us. That way, we might be able to figure out what was commonly playing on the radio and maybe get the second song... or an entirely different song.

Also, like I said, a longer clip of the noise would help me isolate it better, and clean it up.

As for when and where it was recorded, It was recorded somewhere in Los Angelus (all I know it's called the "Dr. Light Studios") and it was released on 24th August 2009, but take it with a pinch of salt, because these albums can take years (four year difference between Get Equip and History Repeating: Blue, and probably another four until Red comes out) to make, so it could have been recorded sometime early 2008 (since it was a small album).

Ok here is a video with the cleaned up song and my answer to your problem. I was wrong at first it was not two songs together, it was simply way a the end of a fade out of a song, barely audible without amplification, but I listened closely and found it.
