Hello and welcome to my first ever Mini Review! Mini Reviews are reviews that are a lot shorter than regular reviews. The point of them is to keep it short, while giving as much information as possible. I will not describe each category, I will just talk about the game and it's pros and cons. So let's get to it!
Super Monkey Ball for the GameCube is a very fun game. I used to play it a lot as a kid. You control a monkey, either AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon, and Baby. The strange thing about the monkeys is that they travel around in balls. You have to steer the ball around. There are three game modes: Main game, Party games, and Mini Games. In the Main games, you have to steer your monkey through 90 different obstacle courses without falling off of the course. There are three party games: Monkey Race, Monkey Target, and Monkey Fight. These games are great for more than one player. In Monkey Race, you and a bunch of others (either other players or CPUs) race through a bunch of different courses while throwing items at each other. In Monkey Target, you are launched into the air and you have to fly to a target and try to land on the higher point areas. In Monkey Fight, you and three others are placed into an arena with boxing gloves. You have to try to knock people off the arena, while trying not to let anyone else knock you off. There are three mini games that you can play, but you need to unlock them with credits that you can earn playing the Main game. These mini games are: Monkey Bowling, Monkey Billiards, and Monkey Golf. They are exactly what they sound like. Bowling is bowling with your monkey, billiards is billiards with your monkey as the white ball, and golf is golf with your monkey. The game is pretty difficult to play. The controls are a little touchy and it is hard to stay on the course. That is the point of the game though, to challenge you.
Well that is my mini review. I understand that it was short and boring, but that is the point. I am not trying to write the best review out there, I am trying to give you as much info as I can, while keeping the review very short. There is another reason I decided to write a mini review. To see who actually reads it before replying. I can tell if they read it based on what they say.
