So, I recently had an idea. As most of you know, I'm a strong Christian. One of my Christian friends believes using magic - whether in game or reality - is wrong unconditionally. Therefore, I got to thinking. Here's the result.

My Challenge

Goal: To play through Fire Emblem: Awakening without using magic (or staves) of any kind.

Rules: Any character you recruit who can only use magic or staves/staffs must be killed off asap, or change-sealed to a different class. This includes Manaketes, Taguels, and the like. Magic (or staves) gained throughout the game must be removed from inventory, but you may not gain any money off of them. Players like My Unit, who can use both swords and magic, can be kept their class IF they NEVER use magic or staves. Warp, Physic, Rescue, etc are not allowed. If you break the rules, even once, you lose the challenge. You must play on original mode (characters can permanently die) and on hard+ mode. Any item is ok.

This is my next playthrough, anyone want to join?

Ok, I'm not going to do this challenge for ONE reason: I can't record my 3DS. D'oh!

Hidden Phantom : Neither can I. Just saying that it would be fun to try!

I just finished my like 5th play-through of Awakening, so I'll be starting on this challenge today or tomorrow. I'm kinda surprised that no one wants to play with me!

mrfe : I like the thought. I'll give it a try, though I think you are required to use magic at least once in one of the Fire Emblem games (I would be playing either the Sacred Stones or FE7).
