Blogs Subforum/Thread Rules
- Punctuation is a must, so if you want a blog to be done, it must have correct grammar and spelling.
- To be legitimate, it must be well thought out, and not a really short post. Possibly 200 - 300 words minimum.
- There are no restrictions to have multiple Blogs, but it is recommended that if you want to make a new blog thread, it must have a different subject. If it doesn't, you are allowed to post another article in the same thread.
- Although not mandatory, it is recommended that when you make small blog entries you not only make the entry as a reply but you also edit your first post and add that in and date it.
- When replying to blog entries, stay on topic by giving the user feedback, compliments, suggestions, etc - in other words, keep the thread about the thread creator and don't make the topic about yourself (you can talk about yourself a little but don't make yourself the new topic)
Ask Anything Rules
- You HAVE to have Global Moderator permission for having an Ask Anything. If you go out to make one without permission, it will automatically be closed. Contact the Globals Through Their Inbox
- You are allowed to have Ask Anythings that are not about "you" in general. You may have Ask Anythings for Video Game characters, Animes, etc.
- If you are denied of getting an Ask Anything, please respect the Global's reasons, and try again in roughly 3 months. The views may change and you can get it. Do NOT attack the Global for being biased or being mean in general, which could suspend your right to asking for an AA and possibly get you banned.
- If you have an Ask Anything, and you become inactive, the thread dies out for 5 months or more; or you request it to be closed, that thread will not be allowed to be reopened until 1 year after the close to prevent open and close patches from users.
Birthday Countdowns
- Not allowed. Only exception is if you know you won't be here for your birthday, and even then, you only get one post to say "Oh, my birthday is on Saturday, see you guys later" or something to that effect. Not count down till you leave.
Member For # of Days/Years
- You may have threads to dedicate 1 year anniversaries, or every other year that passes by. You are also allowed to show off 1000 days milestones. That's all that's allowed.
Individual brag threads
- The only allowed Separate threads to show off post count is for posts that reach 1,000; 5,000; 10,000; and every 5,000 there on. All other minor passes will be posted in the Post Count Brag Thread.
- Most other accomplishment do not need their own thread. For example, do not make a thread for :
- Getting 100 CP
- Making your 20th thread
- Becoming trusted
- Becoming staff
- Etc
- You CAN make a thread for very big accomplishments, some examples:
- Becoming the top CP earner of all time
- Having post XP of 1,000,000.
- Having 1,000,000 Viz.
- Etc, only very very big milestones
- Many other milestones have general threads, like "CP brag thread" and "Exp brag thread"... you may have to look back a few pages, but they are there.
- When it doubt, PM the Local Mods of this thread and ask if the brag thread you have in mind would be suitable.
- We allow also CP threads starting with 10,000; 50,000 and every 50,000 incriment after that. It's allowed, but it is NOT recommended if you've already made a previous CP milestone thread in the last 3 months.
What Do You Think About Me Threads
- We will allow threads like these to happen but it MUST be Global Moderator Approved via PM.
- While Posting in these threads, do NOT flame, and do NOT troll. Post in these threads for your OPINION, you may give negative and positive opinions on a user, but do not Flame Bait them. That's the main reason why these are Global Approved, so don't do it, or you'll possibly be banned.
- You are only allowed 1 Thread per life. So, only one. No recycling threads.
Leaving and Returning Threads
- No leaving threads allowed.
- You can only create threads about your, or any other member's return if there was a absence of 5 days or more.
- Temporary hiatus threads will be allowed for a total of 3-5 days (1-2 during TdV season) until they are closed off to the public. They MUST be under the 'About Me' sub-forum. If you wish to have the temporary hiatus thread reopened to announce your return, then please PM the Local Moderator inbox.
