If anyone is interested in adding Atari 2600 games to the board, please let me know, but please, only people who have the time and are serious about helping reply to this. This job offer pays out more Viz than any other job offer in the history of Viz. You'll also need a fast internet connection.

There are 3 positions available for this, 3 people will work together to add the 600 Atari games, I will assign each of you 200 games and you'll each get 10,000 Viz.

Your job will be to add the games to the board using admin panel which I will give you access to and you'll also be giving each game a description and genre which you'll be able to easily find on gamefaqs.

I'll also provide you with all the screenshots and box art for the games, you'll simply be in charge of renaming them based on the specifications I give you.

This job will probably take around 4 or so hours to complete per person. Also a 'Trusted Member' position will be award upon completion (if you aren't one already).

Anyway, whoever is interested, please let me know when you can begin and when you think you can finish. I will most likely hire anyone who can finish this job the soonest.

I can start whenever you want and will probably finish in 2-4 days. I doubt it would end up at four but if something happens it could. And there is a possibility I could do it in one day, but I doubt that would happen.

The job goes to Haseo, Cyfer and Ferret.

Cyfer will be doing Letters A - F and also numbers.

Haseo will be doing Letters R - Z

Which will result into each of you adding about 200 games each. Again, you'll each get 10,000 Viz once you've completed this and you will also be rewarded with Trusted Member Position.

Now please read the following instructions thoroughly:

First of all, I've given you all access to the atari 2600 Admin Panel

From there you'll be able to add the Atari 2600 games to Vizzed Board but this is how you'll have to do it.

Adding Games:
1. So basically, to add a game, click the 'Add' button from the Atari 2600 Admin panel.
2. From there you'll see the File Drop Down box, this is where you select the game to be loaded. You'll want to do these in order 1 by 1, I've already added the top one to the site so simply select the 2nd game from the Drop Down list.
3. Based on the file name you see, that is what you'll use for the Game Name box, which is the very top one. Do note that underscores ( _ ) represent spaces so if a file name is "Game_Title.zip" for example, you would set it's Game Name to "Game Title" (also note that you wouldn't include it's extension which is in this case .zip). Another thing which is important to note is the fact that the Game Name box can only hold so many characters so if a game's title doesn't fit, you'll need to abreviate and/or remove words in it's name.
4. Now based on what GameFaqs says Genre is, select that in the Genre field; note that you can hold the ctrl key to select more than 1 genre in case the game falls into more than 1 genre (note that if you absolutely cannot find the game on gamefaqs, than you may skip this step and the next step and also skip getting pictures for the game unless you can find them somewhere else). Also if the game is a "Hack" (usually says hack in it's file name) than it wont be listed on Gamefaqs so you'll want to select it's genre as "Homebrew/Hacked" and you don't have to set a description or get pictures for hacked games. Further below you'll see what game types fall under what Vizzed Board Genre incase you're having troubles figuring it out.
5. The next thing you set for each game is it's description; simply just copy and paste the description for the game from GameFaqs - if Gamefaqs doesn't have a description, than you can skip this.
After clicking 'Submit', the game is now added but now we need to get box art and screenshots for the game
NOTE: If you need to go back to edit the details of a game, from the main admin page, select a game and than click 'Edit' to edit the details.

Important Notes:
-The games have stuff in brackets (these are brackets). ANyway, anything in the brackets you don't include in the title name.
-Anything that has PD in it's brackets you don't add.
-Many games will have duplicates; most cases you'll just simply pick the first one but if one of them has an exclamation point like this (!) than you'll pick that one for sure
-Also if there's dubplicates and one has PAL and another NTSC, pick the NTSC
-One last note regarding duplicates, if there are 2 games with the same name but different developers, enter them both in but in the Game Name put in brackets the developer (and be sure to do this same thing with the box art and screen shots)
-If the game is a hack, enter in the description what it's a hack of, it'll say what it's a hack of in brackets

Genres:
Platform - Anything that is a Platform
RPG - RPG games and maybe even adventure games
Arcade - If it was in the arcade or has arcade elements
Sports - Fighting, Racing, Sports
Puzzle - Puzzle, Simulation games, Strategy Games, Trivia, Quizzes
Other - something that doesn't fall in the other categories
Board/Card - Board Game, Card Game, Gambling games, Casino Games
Action - Anything that is action such as shooter games, beat em up games, or anything that involves the main character with a gun
Multiplayer - if the game supports more than 1 player (if you don't know, than you can skip selecting this)
Homebrew/Hack - if the game is a modified version of a real game or if the game is an originally created game made by someone

Box art / Screenshots:
Please read each of the following notes, they are important to make sure the box art graphics and screenshots appear properly on vizzed board
-Both Box art graphics and screenshots are always going to be .jpg format, so please save them in that format.
-You will add 1 box art graphic and 3 screenshots for each game; not all games will have 3 screenshots so that's fine
-The file name for the box art graphic for each game will be the exact name you used for the Title of the game when you added it; for example, if you added a game called 'Game Title', it's box art graphic would be 'Game Title.jpg'
-The file name for the screenshots for each game will be the exact name you used for the Title of the game when you added it followed by a dash and a number; for example, if you added a game called 'Game Title', it's 1st screenshot would be 'Game Title-1.jpg' (if you have any questions on this, please ask becuase this is important that you understand this)
-NOTE: The 1st screenshot of each game will ALWAYS be the title screen. If for some reason you can't get a title screen graphic but can get gameplay graphics, than don't name any of the screenshots as being the 1st screenshot because this is reserved for Title screens.
-For the screenshots, the idea is to show not only the title screen but also 2 pictures of game play and if possible, get screenshots that really do a good job of showing the gameplay
-Be sure to save all the Box Art graphics and Screenshots into a single folder and compress it (in other words, put it into a zip file) and than either email it to me at davideo7@hotmail.com or simply upload it somewhere and give me the download link

That's it. Sounds like a lot of instructions but once you got it down and have added a few games, it'll be a lot easier and will go by fast. You guys can ask me any questions in this thread that you might have.

Lastly, once you've added your first 2 games, please send me the images you did for those to games to my email address so I can see if you named them correct. Email them to me at davideo7@hotmail.com

I'm not sure if I should add this game..It had a suspicious name, so I looked it up. I found a youtube video on it. It includes sex scenes...<.< They looks very unrealistic, but a game with adult content still is bad. So yeah, even knowing that fact, should I add it?

Atari surprisingly had a few adult games that were really dirty so you can skip those ones.

Yeah I've seen/played some of those adult atari games too, definitely inappropriate for Vizzed Board. Thanks for bringing that up though, forgot about that.

k sorry i didnt answer faster i can begin with coming monday and i can make the job about 5-8 hours a day depending on my doings in that time xD so...

since i dont know how much games there are for me i dont know how long it will take but ill try to be fast on it

Cyfer, it's in my thread which I posted the instructions. If you didn't see the link to the admin panel that means you probably didn't read the instructions. So you better read the entire instructions otherwise you'll do the whole thing wrong (it's the 5th post of this thread).

If Haseo couldn't do it I could take a crack at it. I should probably have it done pretty quickly.

yeah sry it takes so long but i said i dont have much time^^ and as u told me again where the link was my net broke down T_T i should get it back up this week and if u trust me enough that i can get it ill make it till sunday morning without a prob
