hellno163 : I agree some of the Gen V Pokémon were decent
(Hydra dragon, the Grass starter, Water starter, Fire start first form, etc.) Others were terrible (Purloin, Fire starter second, final evolve form, those two fighting pokemon that had karate outfits).

  @hellno163 Gen V was all right!? Well that's your opinion there's nothing wrong with that , but for me  practically gave up on Pokémon thanks to Black and White but it seems there's hope yet with X and Y. From what I've seen so far it doesn't seem to be letting me down and if they've put in riding Pokémon it's just making me wonder what they've done to surfing and diving ( that's if they add diving to this one) much less flying in this one. Just thinking about all these features is making me hype I can't wait to get Y and @shadowlink12 I'm with u there definitely going with Froakie because I'm hoping it'll be awesome like Empoleon

I'm a big fan of Pokémon, so of course i was extremely excited when i saw the news. normally i choose the water starter( except on hoenn, where i always pick torchic and sometimes kanto, as i switch between the starters on that region) but unfortunately i didnt like froakie too much, so i think at least in my first playthrough im going with fennekin.

This game looks awesome.  I already got a friend to buy a 3DS for this game and am in process of getting 2 or 3 more to do so.  I am definitely getting the fire starter, but not sure if I am buying X or Y.  I like the Y cover art and legendary better...but I usually go by which pokemon are exclusive to whatever game.  I'm wondering if Game Freak will release that information though, because since it is a world wide release no one will know until much later.

1. I was suprised!
But lets hope the gym leaders and elite four look good.

The thing i don't like about Mewthree, is that Mewtwo is known as the strongest pokemon, and is now getting another form?

So with the introduction of fairy types the metagame is going to be changed entirely. Dragon types won't be as op as they used to be, and old pokemon with the new fairy type might be bumped up tiers. One such pokemon is Azumarill with its huge power and with its new fairy type, it might be bumped up from NU to OU. And not only a new type, there are two new types of battles. Horde and Sky battles. Horde battles is when a group of 5 pokemon battle against your one, and sky battles which are visually appealing. Not to mention their are now cut scenes going through the normal game. And you can also ride more pokemon than just gogoat, like ryhorn and of course character customization. Nintendo, your doing it right.

I am so happy about the new fairy type for sylveon, gardevoir, marill, and jigglypuff! I also like the 2 new Pokémon that were announced. I really can not wait to see what noivern evolves from, I think that it will be from the woobat, swoobat family. Anyways, cant wait for more announcements!!!
