I like allot of them. Metroid's ending was a fun invention. Tomb Raider was a great Idea. Final Fantasy 6 had two Lead girls that actually had personalities. Progress was absolutely made in the fighting games of Street Fighter and others. AND Resident Evil gave a new definition to the phrase "Scream Queen".

With all of that said and done. I'm curious to learn who is the Favoured one among the lot for you?

So pick one and back it up with a statement or two. I'll Start.

My Favourite one is "Red Shadow" from "Bushido Blade" one and two. Granted She is a product of the 90's and it shows. But Killing ninjas with on hit kills has never been so much fun. Simple Story. Complex character. Functional outfits(She dresses to kill not to thrill. Unless its a practice Match.). And Great Games. (Note: I had to fight a strong urge to not mention Aya from Onechambara The Bikini Samurai Squad part One or Two. I don't care what the reviews say about those games. "Its all good clean fun.") And that's my "cat" out of the bag.

I can't see the midget hooking up with that one though. Even if it makes perfect sense by today's ... "Moral Codes". I'm certain Mega-Man would have serious issues that would have to programmed out of him every weak when Dr. Willy Does not wreak havok. As far as Samus? Mega-Man Works for free. She's a bounty hunter. Doing work for no pay makes little to no sense to her. She might destroy him on Principal. I am curious to know how that would work though. (Keep it clean dudes. Kids are present.) So, if any one wants to explore that item they are free to do so in this thread. I can be generous with my space. Oh That's fine. I like Patterson, I have no desire for the Hunger Games stuff, and I was hoping for Video Game References but Books will do. If you want some females to read about I strongly suggest Marvel Comics Majik character. If you want a real book then Chuck Pahlanuik's Invisible Monsters was nice. Though that books not about action its about comedy, roles, expectation, and disappointments. Anyway this particular "Thread" entry was intended for Video Game Characters to be discussed. I am Flexible but I don't want to break too many rules. (This site has been kind to me.) You can discuss what kind of game these characters should be in or what type of game it would be for them to be showcased in. I think they wouldn't mind that. The Section this "Thread" is located in is titled "Video Game Crazy". I think they are flexible enough to handle a few new "flub's" if there is a slight attempt to address the topics main themes. I know I am.

I'm not much of a super heros person since Max is a mutan, Tris is a normal girl wo went through some thought stuff and Katniss is just a huntress 

"Invisible Monsters" is not about Super heroes. It's about a Model that had a car wreck and is on a journey to redefine her role in the world. She does this by taking a tour of America with various other characters that are funny and twisted. I think the games these characters could be in would play allot like "Catherine" mixed with a little "Conker's Bad Fur Day." Mixing up Dream Worlds And Hypothetical worlds with Real worlds by the vehicle of Game-Play may be a new invention that sweeps the industry. Video Games have evolved from 25 cent distractions to 50 dollar books you play through. Just a thought though.
Back to the "super hero thing"... If supper powered people are not your thing, then try Image Comics Danger Girl. Abby chase and the others in that series are just "Tuff" and "Brilliant". They had a game once but I didn't get much word on it. It may not have been good. The Idea is still great though. (Back when "Danger Girl" the game was made, Video Games were not adept at perfectly combining various forms of combat in a simple manner. Games like Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry and Enter the Matrix had to come out first to pioneer the Idea.)
For Patterson's Stuff I'd like to see a blending of "Dead to Rights" mixed with "Resident Evil" sans the Zombies. Add a cup of "Rise of the Argonauts" Conversation Game-Play, and the thing should play like a crime fiction piece that may never be forgotten. I dig his books on Alex Cross. I don't think it will be easy to translate his stuff into games but I would like to be first in line to try if they do.

Today I'm Checking out Music Videos with "Heavenly Sword" and man does that game look like it Rocks. How we traded this girl for "God of War" is beyond me.

Presea Combatir from Tales of Symphonia would probably be it. She's this axe wielding emo "girl" (I'd spoil the game if I explained my quotation marks). Symphonia's a really great game, it's got really good voice actors, character development and plot! It's for the Gamecube and PS2.

Samus, of course. First of all, unlike most women in gaming (stares at Peach) she can hold her own in the world without getting kidnapped by giant turtles or guys with green skin. Second of all, SHE"S SMOKING HOT.

I like some Samus Form Metroid as well. Though I know there is allot more to choose from than just one.
One thing I am not happy about in modern trends is the silly "Vampire" craze.

"Darkstalkers" Music Videos from Fans.
I forgot about this game several years ago.
But because of the current Obsession with Vampires a few dug up some shows, and games, and then mixed it up with some modern music.

Here's an eye-full of "Morgan" the Vampire that turned heads and put the smackdown on folks everywhere in arcades. Granted her design is very 1990's and common with Anime of the time But she is a Supernatural Being That had an original story. (As opposed to a Dracula Clone. Given Female form.) The Lilith Story. The Multiple Personality. The lack of a clear explanation. The Green Hair that sometimes turned Blond. The Bats.
Everyone has had an odd idea of Scary and Funny Being together This was Brilliance. The whole Darkstalkers Character Roster had a fresh take on all of the classic monsters and made them cool again.
How can anyone resist?
