Contest #1 was the Sonic 1 GHZ1 time attack contest.


With that out of the way, I wanted to make a new contest. This contest is for Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire for the GBA.

The contest goal is to get the highest end of bonus possible, WITHOUT SAVESTATES!

Here's how you submit your entries:

• You can either post your big grand total end of ball bonus on either table, or you can post said end of ball bonus and each bonus individually like this:


Here is how your record submitting here will be like:

• No savestates in the whole run.

• Take a screenshot right when the whole grand total ball bonus score shows but before the bonus starts quickly going down.

• You post either just the ball bonus or do this:

Pokemon caught / total bonus for # of pokemon caught: ___ / ________
Pokemon evolved / total bonus for # of pokemon evolved: ___ / _________
Travels made / total bonus for # of travels made: __ / ________

Now, speaking of grand total, there are prizes for winning in the top 3:

1st, 1500 Viz
2nd, 750 Viz
3rd, 375 Viz


Also, there are bonus Viz for reaching the following GT bonus goals:

500,000,000 - 749,999,999 = 250 Viz
750,000,000 - 999,999,999 = 500 Viz
1,000,000,000 - 1,249,999,999 = 750 Viz
1,250,000,000 - 1,499,999,999 = 1000 Viz
1,500,000,000+ = 1500 Viz

Tough goals, but it could be done if you are more than a brutally awesome player at pinball. I have done a 700,000,000 GT bonus before on my 2.1 billion run on the sapphire table.

Instead of giving just a week to get the results, you can submit your results whenever you want during the contest until December 1st, 2012, 12 AM EST. There isn't a way to cheat on this game due to GS being disabled on the RGR plugin. Don't take this as a way to cheat, because the RGR plugin disables GameShark, so good luck, and get a chance to win up to 3,000 possible Viz.


For this contest onwards, I will no longer post the image, I will post the score from the screenshot instead. I have frustration having to constantly change the picture and it caused nothing but problems, so I will just post the score. Remember, I am posting the current highest records from paticipants every day until the final day.

I don't know what the names were for the other 3 people in contest 1, but if you guys are interested in this, you can do so.

You start your run on a fresh new ball, and end when the bonus comes.

Only 10 days to get the results because barely anyone saw this thread and posted in it. That's why I didn't post anything until now. A single ball can take up to maybe around 15+ minutes, which is often if you are really good at the game.
