November 2012 - Screenshot Competition - Screenshot Hunter 4 - Earn 10,000 Viz

You will need to find games in the Retro Game Room that are missing screenshots for any of the RGR Plugin systems.
You can add a screenshot if you find a game missing 1 of the following screenshots: Title Screen: A screenshot showing the title of the game Gameplay: A screenshot showing off in gameplay Gameplay 2: A screenshot showing off in gameplay or world map or playable characters or level select screen (this screenshot should be different from the gameplay screenshot 1; example: if gameplay screenshot 1 is of level 1, this one could be of level 2). Take a screenshot with the RGR Plugin and submit it to the page. Each screenshot you submit that qualifies earns you 1 point. If you find a game missing a title screen and both gameplay screens, you can submit 3 screenshots to that game to earn 3 points. If a game is just missing the title, take a screenshot of the title, if a game is just missing a gameplay screenshot, take a random screenshot of gameplay. Note though, user submitted screenshots count as well so if a game already has user submitted screenshots of the title or gameplay, than you wont get points for that submission. For each game you add screenshots to, be sure to place the URL to the game's page to this thread and also specify what screenshot/s you added for that game. You can submit as many as you want, the person with the most points wins. With all of the games that have been added lately, and with all the games that will become publicly available soon, this seemed like a great opportunity for another Screenshot Hunter competition. Should screenshot links be posted as we go along (like on a day-by-day basis), or is it better to keep track of everything for the month and then just compile it into one lump sum post at the end of the month? |

Crazy Li : It's less messy and easier to keep track of if you have all the links in a single post. So, I would either keep track of them and post them all at the end, or edit a single post repeatedly as you add more links (daily, weekly, or just whenever you feel like updating).

Crazy Li : I strongly recommend just editing one post when you get more submissions. I have tallied up results for David for these competitions before, and it is a pain when people have 10 posts with multiple submissions. As for me, I think I have won 2 of these already, so I will sit this one out. David, I think that our screenshot adders love it when you make this the competition for the month. Yeah I figured this is an extra incentive for the staff. I know it's a little ridiculous that we've had like 4 of these competitions in the past year but I think users enjoy them and it really helps us accomplish the goal of getting screenshots for every game in the RGR. It makes it a little more taxing if someone assigns them before I start tallying them up because my first reaction is that the submission doesn't count. I want less chance of mistakes. Look at my submission for the Screenshot Hunter 2 in this thread. https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=37106 That is much easier for me to read. Just put the link once, type below the link which screenshots you took, and leave it at that. That way all i have to do is click the link one time, check it, and move on.
