Super Mario World was, I believe, the best selling video game ever, at the time it came out. This is that same game, ported to the GBA, with improved music, a different sprite and different movements for Luigi, compared to Mario. There is also voice acting, and plenty more. Plus, Luigi is no longer a second player only option.
Graphics - 9
This game was definitely an improvement over the last games. Not only more depth in the backgrounds, but a brighter and more colorful world than before. This version, however, is slightly brighter than the original, which not every body liked.
Sound - 10
The music, the sound effects, and like I stated earlier, the voice acting, were just phenomenal. All the music was good, and could be listened to for a long time, without it getting annoying. All the sound effects were perfect. Even jumping on the springs sounded good. The voices make the game that much better, when Mario cries out "Mama Mia!" if he dies. And something not every body knows, when you are on Yoshi, there is a bongo sound added to the in level music.
Addictiveness/ Depth - 9.5
This game is very big. I think 94-96 different level exits. Some having two exits, which are marked by a red dot. With all the Yoshi coins to get, and so many levels to get them from, you will find it hard to stop. This game will take weeks to complete it one hundred percent (without excessive gameplay), and you will enjoy every minute of it.
Story - 5
Bowser steals Peach when Mario and Luigi aren't looking. Same old story. Moving on.
Difficulty - 7
This game is hard at times, but it is very easy to get 999 lives, so really you should be fine. There are lots of secrets that will be very hard to uncover, so it may be tough to find some hidden secrets.
Overall - 10
This is my favorite game ever. It is so big, and just the most fun I ever had playing a video game. I have beaten it many times, but it still never gets boring. You should, if you like platform games, or any kind of retro games for that matter, play this game.
