What is it with everyone always wanting to play piano?  LOL
I've always wanted to play, guess what? Piano!

Thought I wouldn't mind playing the guitar either.  I'd love to just chill and play worship songs on a guitar.

Yes I do want to learn how to play another instrument. I already know how to play the Clarinet, but I want to learn how to play the guitar, piano, and the flute. They always sound nice to me in a lot of songs.

Yes i wanted to learn how to play the piano because my brother's grandma told me that she liked what i was playing. honestly i didn't know what i was doing so i keep tapping the keys that i was. Thats why i wanted to learn to play the piano.

I want to actually learn how to play the piano. I started that about ten years ago for a little bit of time, but it wasn't a real piano. It was just more like a keypad and it really didn't do justice as far as an actual piano went.

I did learn how to play the main notes of Green Sleeves by myself from nothing but ear on the piano from that though. But I still unfortunately do not know how to read music.

I never really wanted to learn how to play any instruments, but one day I mentioned to my dad that it'd be cool to play the guitar like Taylor Swift.
The next thing I know, he buy's me a guitar and a bunch of dvd's and expects to me to learn how to play.

I tried for a while and even learned how to play a bit of 'Love Story', but I just can't get into it.

At different points in my life, I've wanted to play the harmonica, the saxophone, then the clarinet, layter the guitar, then the bass, then the piano, and finally the trumpet. I've touched all of them before (minus the trumpet...one day), and I can play a few very simple songs on piano and sax. That's about it.

I have interest in learning, but not enough to go out and buy and instrument and pay for lessons or at least put in the time to learn. However, my original instrument that I've never stopped wanting to learn is the human voice. I still would very much love to sing and rap. Maybe one day when I get a job and money, I'll look into getting lessons. I can't tell you how happy it would make me. I naturally (I think) speak very fast. Often times when I'm rapping along to rap songs, I actually have to slow down because I'm going too fast without even trying,

the one instrument i could never master and would like to play would have to be the piano people have told me i would be a good piano player if i just practiced because one time at church i played and i was really good so im thinking about taking piano lessons any ideas ?

Yes and no. I want to learn instruments, just to be able to play them, but I don't want to put any time or effort into them, because it's not like I want a career in music, so I guess my answer is no.

Every new instrument I come across, I try to learn it as best as I can. Stuff like Saxophones and trumpets all seem easy but they are not as easy as it seems. The piano is always my easiest instrument to learn.

Piano and the Violin but lack the willing to learn ;( sad i know..

I play electric bass but have always wanted to play the guitar. I'm trying to learn but it seems a lot harder than it looks. I also own a trumpet and a violin which I want to get round to trying one day. Playing the trumpet seems especially difficult though!

Just on the subject of guitar its not as hard as it seems. The worst part of it is the first year because you feel like you aren't actually getting anywhere but just doing one little excercise everyday for about 2 weeks you will notice it getting better, dont be dishertened by the fact youre going so slow, everyone was like that at the start, people dont pick it up and learn within a day/week.
If you push through the first year it becomes a lot easier because you have the motivation. You can play the stuff you first learned and see how much easier it is. I still have my old music, i can olay it about 7 times faster than its supposed to be, sometimes i just go through all of it without stopping.
Theres plenty of youtube videos showing you stuff, they make for good lessons.
And if you cant afford a decent guitar just buy a second hand one, my first one was free, my second cost about £60 (about $100 at the times exchange rate).
I think its better if you put pressure on yourself, tell people youtre learning etc, that way you cant just back out and give up, a bit of pressure helps in this situation.
IOm glad i had that kind of pressure, i wouldnt dream of droping it now, i learnt a new song in one hour the other week, thats progress)

On the note of the reply, i wouldn't mind getting a bass guitar to complete my collection, electric, acoustic, an electric acoustic, and 2 electric guitars. Its not really what instrument I want to learn though, if you can play guitar, bass is easier, its 2 strings less.
